I raised my ex best friends daughter from birth till she was 2. I was in the delivery room while my ex best friend gave birth, my friend broke up with her ex and was too “ upset” to raise her so I did and I did EVERYTHING I could and more for that little girl, through the night feeds, tantrums, teething,when she was sick, every second I was with her I loved her. I’m real proof that carrying/delivering a baby don’t always makes you a parent. What makes you a parent is you stepping up to the responsibility of raising a baby. ❤️

When she tried to revoke the curse and yelled "Let it be no more!!!" It gives me chills everytime....as well as when she closed her eyes when she 'died' because seeing Aurora in pain was to much Edit: also when Aurora screamed "No!!!!" it sounds so real and full of pain she did a great job

Heart wrenching……turns out true love does win! But the fight sure did suck!

1:07 At this moment Maleficient is watching Aurora with a lot of kindness , this is so cute to see and it brings me tears, because during the film we evolve with this character and her feelings. The story is just amazingly beautiful and Angelina Jolie is incredible in this movie; as always.

All other children were terrified of Malifisant, except her own daughter. I love that they had to use her daughter as the younger Aurora because so many others were terrified looking at her.

Being a parent isn't just about carrying a child and giving birth to the baby. It's raising that child and what you give to that child. That's why I love these films. It shows the love Maleficent had for Aurora and Aurora not being hers.💗

This proves that all villain are not evil. They are just broken. At first she was betrayed by Stefan and lost her wings. But Aurora again helped her to get her wings back. No love exists more than a mother's love.

The whole movie shows that you can show compassion even if your heart has been destroyed

I never noticed that little smile that Malaficent has after being stabbed from saving Aurora. She protect her daughter one last and that is all that matter to her. That is what honestly made me cry 😭

Though that may be true, I also feel as Maleficent simply felt something different with her, like she wasn’t worth the hate she gave Stefan, it’s rather beautiful.

It kind of shows that she couldn't bring herself to punish an innocent child for the crimes of her father and that, even though the humans feared her and made out that she was evil, she was more loving, protective and forgiving than they were.

This song literally explains the whole storyline... And the mash up with the dialogues.. it's just such a vibe... I came back to this the 13th time

Who else was sick of the old, tired, and played out “man and woman” happy ending? I’m just blown away that it was FINALLY the love of a MOTHER that saved the day. 🙌🏻 I can’t put into words how the scene when Aurora cries for a “dead” Maleficent made me feel. That scene just touched me on so many levels. Thank you for this video 🙏🏻♥️

This movie just took the phase "a kiss of love" To another level

I come back to this video over and over again. It's so masterfully done and flawless. I can never get past the part where Aurora screams when Maleficent turns to ash - that shit guts me everytime I just start crying. I love this so much it's a perfect tribute for two of the best movies Disney's put out in recent memory.

Maleficent was betrayed, and in sheer anger she wanted her backstabbers to suffer, before realizing that she was being the villain by cursing a child who had no word in what her family did. She looked after the one she cursed, and realized how shes nothing like them, regretting her cruel curse which she tries to take off. I prefer Maleficent over the original Sleeping beauty, people dump on it because its one of the live action movies which also started up what Disney is currently doing, but really y'all should look aside from that and look at how the story is pretty great really.

asro the queen hates maleficent. I can’t remember much of the movie because it’s been so long, but the queen never tried to hurt aurora . She only did things to get aurora out of the way so she can move her plans forward.

The girl who play aura has one most beautiful smiles I've ever seen.

I love this video, it always makes me cry and it really shows how people could be misunderstood, “villians” are just people that have been misunderstood. I’m still a teenager but somehow my life kinda is similar to maleficent. As a child, I was loved and was popular, but as I grew older people started to use me and just assumed me as a failure and how I was just a useless being that was roaming and that success was never meant to be for me. I used to hate those people and also tried cutting them off, but deep down, I used to love them, but they still hurt me. I just hope that nobody goes through this, not as a child, not as a teenager, to as an adult nor as a mother, nor a father.

This is honestly what I thought and it really hits home right about now....

It really made me emotional when she called Maleficent her mom. Because they have been through so much.

I’m not crying, dust got in my eyes. Seriously- this video captures the bond Aurora and Maleficent have. They started out as frenemies/enemies and it eventually moved to a mother-daughter relationship. Now that I think about it, the fairies never really raised Aurora, Maleficent did. All reunions with the two and moments with them are heartwarming and I absolutely love it- I’m glad they did this villain justice instead of leaving her and her tale in the dust.

When you know the story isn’t real but you still sit there wanting Maleficent to be your mother too...
