Advise from me is get a van you can stand inside..it is very advisable. ..in malaysia you cannot install a pop up roof..by jpj any vehicle roof or side structure cut, will be confiscated.

24 Hour Travellers if it's a new vehicle than yes it due about 100, 000 km that is also subjective to servicing every few thousand km. In a old or used vehicle you need to rebuild the engine and drive terrain. Also brakes , steering rack and suspension. All of this is subjected to wear and tear. Need to remove all moving parts disassemble , change seal , grease and change what ever parts faulty, install back and drive a few thousand km make sure its road worthy then you can build the cabin.

May I ask why did you perform engine overhaul in the first place? I was told if the engine does not exhibit any abnormal condition (consume too much fuel, engine oil, white smoke etc), there is no need to overhaul the engine.

We didn't overhaul this engine. All is good. Just serviced the fuel pump. This Van was parked in a yard many months not moving.
