This travel vlog shows my stay in the Maldives of Malaysia, Tioman Island. Or Pulau Tioman as the locals would say.
Tioman is a beautiful island on the South East of Malaysia. To get here you have to take the ferry from a town called Mersing. The ferry journey is around 2 hours. To get to Mersing from Kuala Lumpur will take between 4-5 hours to drive.
During my stay I stayed at the Tunamaya Beach and Spa Resort. It is a wonderful resort that has everything to make your holiday perfect. I stayed in a garden villa which was a good size and very comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was of the highest quality with a nice mix of Asian, Malaysian and Western food. There were many activities to do at the hotel including hiking, snorkelling, pizza making and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the beach.
Tioman is a lot less commercialised than a lot of islands I have been to around Asia. It is quiet and relaxing with some of the most beautiful colours I have seen (vibrant blue waters, bright white beaches and a lot of luscious greenery).

Untuk ke sini, anda perlu mengambil feri dari sebuah bandar bernama Mersing. Perjalanan feri adalah sekitar 2 jam. Untuk sampai ke Mersing dari Kuala Lumpur akan mengambil masa antara 4-5 jam untuk memandu. Selama saya menginap, saya menginap di Tunamaya Beach and Spa Resort. Ia adalah sebuah resort yang indah yang mempunyai segalanya untuk menjadikan percutian anda sempurna. Saya tinggal di vila taman yang merupakan saiz yang baik dan sangat selesa. Makanan yang disajikan di restoran adalah kualiti tertinggi dengan campuran makanan Asia, Malaysia dan Barat yang bagus. Terdapat banyak aktiviti yang boleh dilakukan di hotel termasuk hiking, snorkeling, membuat pizza dan banyak tempat untuk berehat dan menikmati pantai. Tioman jauh kurang dikomersialkan daripada banyak pulau yang pernah saya kunjungi di sekitar Asia. Ia tenang dan santai dengan beberapa warna yang paling indah yang saya lihat (perairan biru bertenaga, pantai putih terang dan kehijauan yang lazat). Adakah anda pernah ke Pulau Tioman sebelum ini? Tioman island always be my favourite place to chill. Been there last year before the monsoon. I will definitely come back to this eden.

Not really but I no longer visit there since 2018 when they started to beat young women. I refuse to put money in the pockets of a state that shames us in front of the world.

Good one but you can fly into Tioman Island from Singapore. Not cheap . Your hotel also not cheap. The first time we went to Tioman Island we intended to spend 3 nights and ended up spending 15 nights . The second time we visited the island again we just stayed for 6 nights . Its a very special place to spend time . We hope to return sometime in the after pandemic future. Great video . Thanks for the memories.

I think another place that you must visit is SABAH. Here to many a beautiful island,you know like a manukan island,simpadan mabul, etc... In SABAH also you can see the highest tree in the world, and ya Sabah popular with this mount, (mount. Kinabalu 4,095m) . Have a nice journey sir, welcome,,,,,

Theres many beautiful spot in tioman actually..try salang...but theres a bad spot..like tekek at turtle reservation...oil spill, damage coral...hurmmm

@@justdoit3928 yes.. i love Tioman, especially the Twin Peaks/Dragon horn of Nenek Semukut, but in term of which is more similar in the resemblance of Maldives, it would be Semporna
Tioman is really nice, comfortable and relaxing. However, for hardcore divers visiting Malaysia, Sipidan is other-worldly.

For some reason the ferry service doesn't sent the passenger to Tunamaya. But to go there you need to get it from Genting Village right? Maybe for keep the village uncommercial and exclusive.
