Today we've finally arrived at Elly's hometown, Kota Bharu. This is a rural Islamic State of Malaysia, and to Mark's surprise, our first meal was Bak Kut Teh!
So for those who don't know, Bak Kut Teh is a herby pork bone dish cooked in a soy-based broth. One of the must-try delicacies of Malaysia/Singapore. I'll argue that the Malaysian version tastes better though :)
