Hey Jerry glad to see you again! I never did get the Newmar 3401 Bay Star - was really close to signing - visited the factory and had all my specials all done. Then you know what hit - so I am up in the White Mountain region of New Hampshire (off of LI NY ) in a log home on 7 acres - who knew...lol

You can camp on the beach in California just outside the edge of Huntington Beach around $65 a day. I stayed there I think it was called Bolsa Chica. You could hear the car traffic from Hwy 101, but also the beautiful sound of the surf.
