Using your video again. Reservations made for December. Thank you! I will be back! Spent 4 nights here before 2022 Thanksgiving. I love this campground. So many different types of RV's, Van's, etc.

Well I am a little bit jealous! December should be a great time to be there without all the crowds. Enjoy your stay and let me know how it was in December.

That is so cool! If you see us there be sure to stop and say hello. We started out tent camping there several years ago and love the campground. You are right there were much fewer people there than we thought would be there. Safe travels and hope we run into you guys out there. Thanks for watching the video and the comment.

This has been one of our favorite areas. It's too bad that their new size limitations won't allow us to go back, even though it appears in your video that a lot of people are still going. They supposedly implemented a new rule since we have been there that says the maximum length is 32 foot but specifies that this 32 ft includes the tow or towed vehicle. So essentially if you have a 20 foot truck, you can only have a popup and be following the rules.

There were several short sites but we were able to get one that our 30 foot camper and truck both fit in. We had to angle the truck to get it in but they both fit. Our new fifth wheel is 30 feet too so I am hoping we can fit again this year. There were some pretty big rigs in there but we just have to check the site details. The sites are hard to get so we took the first one I thought we would fit in. Thanks for the comment and watching the video.

I fit too but I’m just saying my 29’ camper now isn’t supposed to go based on this rule alone

I just called and they said this is not true . They will allow our 37ft fifth wheel and truck. You have to make sure that the site you pick fits your rig.

I normally wouldn’t care, but I’m actually going to report this to the FAA, this is right in the path of Military low level flight training area. There are multiple no fly / caution areas right here and I’m surprised that the drone even let you take off. All you had to do was check the free charts. You cannot get a LAANC for this area.

Some of the sites seem a little short for my 32' 5th wheel and Supercrew truck

Yes some of them were pretty short. Just check the site details when booking to make sure you will fit. We did see a few pretty good size fifth wheels in there. Thanks for watching the video.

Staying at site E the week after Christmas. Taking my electric moped. Are there any rules about electric mopeds or bikes?

  • @Whyknotgo86

That sounds great! There are no restrictions on ebikes or mopeds. We actually filmed most of the video riding our ebikes. Enjoy your time there and thanks for watching the video.

It is 5-10 minutes depending how many times you stop to look at things. Not a bad walk at all.

They didn’t get permission, they just don’t care about the rules or putting people in harms way as this is an extremely high trafficked low-level rotary flight path for military aviation. This is why there are more and more rules being placed on drones, because people are just too lazy to educate themselves..

  • @yakyappers

100 percent agree. I also suspect they don’t have a part 107 license to use a drone and post the footage on KZread as required.
