Malaguena was created by a Cuban composer who wrote it on the tragedy of the of war in Cuba in 1929. This composition since has become a legend in all forms of flamenco guitar solos to dances including symphonic orchestrations to now occupy skating rings at the olympics arenas. Great!

Not quite. It is one of the traditional flamenco styles derived from the fandangos. There are many variations of malaguenas, as with other flamenco palos.

jawaid manzoor well when I read what u said, i said oh I get it, La mala guerra, but then someone said it existed way before Cuba War and the music, so I'm back to square one trying to figure out what the song actually means la Malagueña can anyone answer that for me it's driving me nuts not knowing

***** it was beginning of 90's and there was no tabs nothing, but a rusty cassette player and a tape of flemenco, rewinding & forwarding, only from ear :) Not exactly this version of course but it was Malaguena...

Yup, the soul of Mediterranean Sea: I really can see the fenician 'horses' with their masts and sails raiding the waves, heavy with ingots and wines. Can even imagine that evanescent culture that precedes Nova Cartagena by centuries that many call it minoan and worship the Bull, but some know it for its real name: Atlantis, from the Heracles' pillars (Gibraltar)

The guy in this video is an amazing guitar player, there is no doubt about that. I must have wached this video 20 times in a row The first time I saw it because of how amazing (imo) the playing is. I probably watch this video for a couple of times a day because it is inspiring and very enjoyable. Also, the title of the video is "click-bait". So, before you feel the compulsion to post something negative to dismiss the guys playing, just enjoy the music and ignore the title and you'll feel much better about yourself. I subscribed.
