You are right, that is my state capital no improvement when new states like Yobe, Zamfara,Bayelsa,Gombe are developing this state remains stagnant and among the oldest state in Nigeria 🇳🇬.
Until the Tiv dominated tribe allow other tribes like Idoma, Igede, Utonkon, Nyifon, Jukun, Akpa and Etilo who occupies 3 senatorial districts in Benue State to govern the state, Benue will continue to retogress. The Tiv man has been ruling Benue State since 1999 when the military step aside, and yet a state capital Makurdi under their region is allowed to be folly and dilapidated. How Sad.

I heard a Tiv man say another tribe can't rule Benue and that day I knew Benue state has a very long way to go if that's the mentality they have there, I served in Makurdi and lived there for 2 years but had to leave because frankly the state is very rich but the people are still poor in reasoning/utilizing..
