Even in dress rehearsals they cant, in a faked showmance they dont do that, purely for cameras which is probably why they are the most shipped real couple ever

kazehana877 I have gone back and watched how he touched and held other partners over the season. How they touch is different. They continually rock slightly and rub their fingers on different body parts. It is a very different touch. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to see her personality. I am a huge figure skating fan and due to the changes in how shows are scheduled and how they are not shown in the USA the way they used to be, we don't really get to see our skaters the way we did in the Kwan days. I have loved getting to see both she and Charlie. I don't think any of us expected to see the passion Maks has unleashed in her. This old woman has enjoyed watching them and being reminded of the joy of youth.

ron p I used to be a huge figure skating fan as well but lost interest after the Kwan days and the 6.0 scoring system. No skaters (singles, pairs, ice dance) since then managed to capture my attention. I only mildly watched the Sochi Olympics for skating and even then the TV coverage wasn't like say that of the '88 Olympics so in the end I missed most of it. Then Meryl and Charlie signed on to DWTS S18 and oh, boy!..... all I can say Meryl Davis has reignited my interest in figure skating and I haven't followed an ice dancing pair much since Natalia Bestemianova and Andrei Bukin or Klimova and Ponomarenko from Calgary '88. Maks has unleashed a sensual, sexy side to Meryl (which Meryl's mom said has never been seen before in her competitive ice dancing programs with Charlie). Can you imagine if Meryl brought that quality to the next Olympics should she and Charlie decide to compete again? I think they will retire though and go out on top. Olympic gold and DWTS S18 MBT champion for Meryl all within 3 months..... cant' get better than that!

Daisha Lawson Him and Peta were together but they did break up before the season started.. He said it in interviews, and said he has to stop dating in his workplace.

Usually I stay out off shipping real couples, but when their words say one thing but their body language and actions say another its hard not to, and the DWTS GMA after party there's a segment that speaks louder than any press or media, everyone is gathered around the air hockey match between Derek and James, except Meryl and Maks where they are clearly seen off in their own world holding hands like no one else is watching

Their flirting, closeness, playfulness or however you want to label it was much more than just for show. Infatuation, or a crush can happen even when dating or married to someone else. They were smitten & their physical touching was constant. If that was all for show, then they both should go into acting to win an Oscar.

Erin & Maks were never an item. They also had good chemistry although nothing like M & M.

Tom is so creative and funny, like who comes up with Blushin Russian on the spot lol

'' Never two dances''? What about Kirstie Alley's Quickstep/Samba in season 15? I think he forgot about that. LOVE LOVE LOVE this interview. I love how close they are. I think whatever they have is magical and I do wish them the best in their future, whether they have Boris and Oleg or just stay friends ;)
