    Have to say my Mikilta brushless circular saw is like no other I have used. Of course; my 10 inch miter saw bought in 1994 has last well with just brush changes.

    I’ve had makita cordless for over 6 years now and never an issue. Sure Milwaukee may be stronger but I’ve seen the battery’s fall apart and impact guns fall apart within months of purchase.

    watts is power, no load speed means no resistance on the tool, running free.....amps= current... ohms is resistance

    I always laugh when comments come about stuff Made in China! So many High End products are made there, all of them under European or US spec. Apple for example. If you bought a Chinese made copy or low budget product, then I wouldn't buy if I wanted quality. Most stuff, at least in large quantities, is made in China because of the low wage costs. Most of it is really good stuff.

    I always thought Makita were great tools when made in Japan but with the onset of being produced in China I'm not so sure any more.

    Some are made in China others are in Japan and some in Romania etc. Thats why its best to buy in person so you can actually read the label and the manufacturer.

    Looks good but MADE IN CHINA ? Why cant one country just keep making something! Everything I see from China is cheaply made! Or made to break as to keep us coming. back for more cheap products. It hurts over all productivity !

    It just saves companies money if you really want a professional brand built in the country it originated from I'd recommend Matabo wich is a German brand like Bosch I might have spelt it incorrect by the way
