How to make the handle:
The material chosen for this handle consists of yew boards, red G 10 inserts and brass pins.
Wood scales are epoxy-bonded to interlayers (G-10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a type of composite material).
Then these scales are adjusted on the blade to drill the location of the pins.
it is important shaping the front of the scales because once mounted it is very difficult to change without damaging the blade.
Several notch holes on the scales are used to receive more glue and ensure better gluing.
The pins are sanded for a good grip of the glue and a good fit in the holes of the wood.
Then all the elements are carefully degreased before final gluing.
Finally, once assembled, remove all traces of epoxy glue on the blade and ensure no spilling glue on it by positioning the blade knife upward during drying ...
