Thank you. 🌻 I've been using a similar system, but with a few twists. I use an 8-cup vintage Corning Ware tea/coffee pot (which is made of special stovetop-safe ceramic). After heating about two cups of water in it to around 150°, I add ~10 grams (or ~40 ml) of the dry yerba mate, and stir it in. Then I cover it and let it steep for five minutes or so. Then I pour it into my favorite coffee mug, with a strainer suspended over the top (much like your system, but with a strainer (standard-type) over the mug rather than in the pot), pouring it with the lid still on the pot. The lid has a small opening at the spout, so the small opening blocks and catches most of the leaves and twigs, like a pre-filter. The strainer catches the rest, which is only a small amount, which is then shaken back into the pot). Then I add another two cups of water to the pot, and repeat the extract (from the same yerba as last time) as often as desired. Periodically I add another ~40 ml (~10 grams) of dry yerba to the pot, to strengthen the tea as much as desired. I just keep going like that until the pot more or less fills up with wet yerba, which I continue to extract until it gets too weak. Then the pot gets emptied, and I start the whole cycle again from scratch. It's been working great for me. Very happy with it. Love yerba mate. I want to try Rosamonte Serena, just to see what it's like. Have you tried it, or heard from people who have? What have you experienced or heard about it?

Could you brew a big batch of mate with this teapot method in the morning before work, then fill up yor thermos and bring it to work and sit that thermos of delicious mate throughout the day? Or will it lose its benefits, lose its taste etc. ? Cheers

Some people report elevated blood pressure from drinking mate and had their doctors forbid them to drink it. Doesn't happen for everyone obviously. Any comments?

This was filmen 10 years ago - how’s your health now? Since I stopped coffee (I had one cup per day), and experienced tremendous health benefits once the withdrawal phase was over 30 years of migraines gone, brain fog gone, exhaustions gone. I used to like the occasional cup of Mate, but now I am really afraid of touching anything with caffeine, as I can’t even eat dark chocolate anymore as I recognize the negative caffeine symptoms. Any thoughts/advice? And please make a 10 year update video of your current Mate habits and overall mental and physical health! 🧉

what do you use to be sure your water is at 175ish degrees precisely? just conventional methods? also when you say (in another video) that you refill your gourd about 30 times a day, do you replace the gourd with fresh mate at any point? thanks so much love it!!!

I used to use a food thermometer, but now since I intuitively know the temps, I just stick my finger in the water as it heats to get a gauge. I replace the mate after it becomes totally tasteless in the gourd.

You gotta try, hes not exagerating.. I am nowhere near someone that tries to be completly healthy. I am filled with bad habits and I dont try to be fully clean. But yerba mate works, totally replaced coffee and most sugars and cleansing a huge part of my bad habits related to alimentation.| I also smoke a shitload of weed... and dont feel that I need it as much after only 3 weeks / 1 month drinking mate everyday. I've been drinking it everyday everywhere for 2 years now, and Its a shame I didnt discover that drinks from the gods before. Its an aquired taste that you got to develop, but once it is, and that your rewards system understands how good it is for your body, you will also swear by it.
