I'd like to see a bouquet of those flowers in bedded in a resin ball

I feel like I'm very late to the game, because I was thinking the EXACT thing. Make a few of these, drop them in at the bottom of some clear resin, and make a sphere or paper weight. Just saying...
@etzel42

Or make another vase with flowers in the clear resin and then put real flowers in that vase.

Yep! I agree!
I think they are beautiful and if a man gave me something like this I would love it! Also you can soak them in essential oils and then they can be scented flowers!
Real flowers are beautiful, wood turned flowers are too. If you ever stop making videos, I don't know what I'll do. 🌺🌻🌼🌸🌹 Great project.
Magical. I have never been disappointed in receiving flowers. Live and cut, live and in a pot, flowers drawn on paper, random yard weeds, even once a pile of lego flowers my son picked out of his set and poured into my lap. 🥰
As a woman, I think that would be a great gift...flowers that never die. I love it!

Same! Also, my cat wouldn't eat them. LOL!
Holy smokes, Nick!!! That thing is supa funky! The vase is absolutely beautiful yet the flowers have such a spontaneous whimsical feel to them. Combined they make this a beautiful yet fun piece! Absolutely love it!
Looks great. You should do the vase as resin with the bottom a blue color to look like water with the top of it clear reckon it would look really reaslitic
These would be beautiful made into a wreath.
As always this turned out to be a very beautiful project I'll bet your wife would love to get that bouquet of flowers they're never going to die
You don't give yourself enough credit, Nick. I think the faux flowers turned out very nice! What do you think of putting some cedar shavings in the vase?

At the beginning of this video I was thinking, "Ok, so wood turned little flowers, thats cool, but what can you do with them?" Then, he made it awesome! Does this to me all the time.

@@nickzammeti I am so excited you noticed my comment and responded! Keep up the wonderful job, I love seeing your new videos, and I am sure that so many people do.
Very Funky, Never have to worry about a dead flower again....LOL.
“Friday” just isn’t Friday without a Nick video. But I was in the mountains for a 3-day weekend and missed this video. Instead, nice way to improve a Monday morning! Great fun!
That's why ppl love you Nick! Even if you do what others have done and perfected, you give the person a shout out/props. Unlike 95% of KZreadrs, they want all the likes and views and would sell their own granny to get them!! (It's true, I almost bought one!! **For the cooking, yay!!) 😂💯
Nick, These are so beautiful and creative. This would make a wonderful mother's day gift. Give your mom a bouquet 💐 of flowers, she can keep them for a long time because they don't wilt and die. Great job Nick. Stay safe and waffle on my friend ❤️
My best friend loves everything made of wood. I guess these flowers would be a beautiful gift for her! 😊
I "reckon" you've created yet another loveliness here, Mr Z! I love these sweet little flowers, the colors you chose for them, and the graceful little vase you turned for them. They're on a smaller scale than the larger glories you make...but I love them. Good for you, genius!
How can anyone give Nick a thumbs down??? Everything he makes is awesome and he is so entertaining and fun to watch. I guess they are just jealous that they aren't near as cool, funky or talented. I am SUCH a fan girl😉
I bought some of these from this year's makers central for my mother's birthday, she adores them! The guy that makes them is such a nice guy, his wife is very friendly to. Great couple. Glad they will be back next year. Well done nick for picking up a new technique, keep learning buddy. It's what life is about
I love this project. For someone who works in the office and has no sun light. Flowers that never die. Wonderful gift. I think you did a great job.

Very nice Nick. These flowers would be great to give to hospital patients. No fragrances . Love these as I do all your projects.
Hmmmmm, that has got the old grey cell's doing overtime now! Cool project Nick👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁
I know I would love these as a present! All purple flowers. It's my favorite color.
Holy cow, Nick! What a wonderful little project! I sculpt flowers with polymer clay and your flowers are adorable! You never cease to amaze me! And who knew you were also a floral designer! lol Well done!
His personality is so quirky and happy I love it and the faces he makes is amazing 😂
Woke up to our first snow of the year only to discover fresh blooms. Cheers!
Funky Flowers! No beating that!
I just found this video and sat there with my mouth hanging open. These are great! I could imagine this flowers as unique buttons on a knitted jacket... maybe I just to get a lathe, too. Thanks for showing!
Pretty! I'd love to see those in a resin piece, oooh another idea: making knitting needles, out of resin with a very thin stick inside, and a couple of different pieces of yarn wrapped around each! So it would be stick, wrapped in yarn, coated in a bunch of resin so you don't end up getting to the yarn. P.s so glad I caught this before falling asleep! I also want to see these put into a resin pot! They would look so good in resin, as part of a lid! Edit: if you (he) said that, that was one of your future ideas, I apologize for being repetitive. I had to watch this without sound. I couldn't wait until tomorrow to watch!

Lol, knitting needles out of resin have been made before, so I bet it's possible. I just have visions of the yarn coated in resin unwinding in a tangle halfway across the workshop!

@@mszoomy I've never seen anyone do it. I'd love to see how different minds of yarn react to the resin. OMG, it would be AWESOME if there were a way to forgo the stick entirely. Then you'd literally be knitting yarn with yarn XD!

Excellent idea!
Who would put a thumbs down for this....I love this project one of my favourites!!
You should embed your flowers in a resin vase like when you did the LEGO vase! My grandmother had a nick back like your piece, but the flowers were glass. This is just the sweetest thing.
I was watching Bobby Duke Arts and he kept saying about how great of artist you are. I think both of you guys are an inspiration to the young and older generations
those flowers would be awesome set in resin to make a vase. ❤😉

Awesome idea
You are just awesome with your interests and joy in TRYING. I’m with you as long as you keep making.
I love your vids, Nick! I don’t do wood-turning, or do much with resin, but I love seeing you work, your humour, and seeing the awesome stuff you create! And those flowers are GORGEOUS!
These would be great as drawer pulls in resin, jewelry boxes, light box! Very cool!
I was going to say Nick that if my bloke presented me with this for Valentine's I'd be made up. These are beautiful.
Those are freaking adorable!!! Enjoy watching your videos at the end of the working week! It’s definitely a guilty pleasure! Keep up the great work Nick!!
Flowers !!!!!!!!!!!! no one has every made me flowers befor thanks Nick(Cheers)✨🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺✨
I love all those things you make those flowers are gorgeous you should do more of them I bet your wife would love them anyways please take care can't wait to see what's next God bless
For some reason I had the closed captions on and was fascinated at what came up, so I had to watch the lot. Best bit was the 'rubbery ghosts' I reckon. Loved the video too Nick!
That is a cool way to utilize small pieces. Love that vase, too. They look great together.
Once I've turned a few festive snowmen, I'm going to have a bash at these, got red, black and gold in mind. They'll go nice in a turned wine bottle vase. Cheers Nick, an inspiration as always 👍
Now that’s the kind of flowers I’d like to receive, the kind that never dies!
Next: Embed them in resin and make a vase out of the flowers! Meta!
I have no idea why you say it didn’t come out brilliant when in fact it’s actually very beautiful it came out really nice! 👌
This would be a really fun birthday or mother's day gift to make. Super cool!
Who didn't like this? WTF?! I think they turned out beautiful. I'd be thrilled to receive them. Another great video project

Love them. Thanks to you I got back into woodworking after a 8+ years so I just wanted to thank you for rekindling my love for it ☺️
Teach Charlie to make them they would make good moms day or birthday gift or even for his teachers at school
Those are amazing! Magical! Never seen the like, it's so funky and clever! Those would make awesome buttons too. Possibilities are endless!
Am I the only one that thinks they would look really cool in a wedding bouquet??
This was a really adorable video. The flowers turned out really nice, and they would make a beautiful gift! I was a little surprised you didn’t do your usual “Yorkshire Grit” joke. The running jokes on this channel are always a fun time.
A great idea for younger makers to make as gifts for their nans
I love this. So cute. I want to get one for my mum. Please sell these now. I bet they would look good in resin. Your very talented at what you do.
Those are really cute. Well done, and the matching vase is adorable, love the wood. Now make some more, put them in resin and make flower-flower vase!!
Haven't watched this yet I'm a bit behind but was collecting autumn leaves today and thought how pretty they would look in resin! If anyone could do something amazing with leaves it's you!
So pretty :D Who wouldn't love these? Of course this was a test run, and a successful one at that! I can't wait to see how these come out when you've had more practice, and you could make a lot of these! You have such an enjoyable channel, I always keep coming back, subbed and bell rung :D You take care and have a beautiful day/week/whatever!!!

I lived in Terrell, Texas where I stopped at a Dollar Tree Store and found wooden Roses they had a variety of colors to choose from and I bought some for myself,Mom and Aunt who was my Mom's Twin Sister. Unfortunately I found out that they were not all one piece when my 1yo nephew broke mine. The flowers you made I like better because they will stand up to an uuuppppssss moment from a youngster. LOL
I know it's just flowers and stems with no leaves, but I think it is absolutely brilliant. Great job, Nick.

I mean, come on, 44 dislikes? Who hates wood flowers this much? It is inspired and beautiful, and as he said, it will never die. The receiver/s of a gift like this can have colorful flowers for a lifetime.
That is fabulous. The wooden flowers were really cool! Love the vase. Beautiful wood. ❤️❤️❤️
Love the idea of how to do these flowers. Here's an idea, maybe make the center of each flower a different color, like yellow, and the rest whatever color you like. Then each flower has petals and a pollen area.
These are really cool! I’d love to see you do more with wooden flowers and resin. Love your work, Nick!
Now that was FUNKY! Very cool project!
some of those came out beautifully!! you learned that technique QUICK!

Can't get enough of you xxx
Here after todays african blackwood vase. So pretty. I have wooden tulips that I got in Keukenhof gardens about a decade ago they're wonderful.
Good job Nick. Thanks for sharing different stuff. I will be glad when my hand heals so I can get back in the shop. Have a great day
Love those!!!! You should totally put them in resin and see what they look like in it.
I LOVE those flowers and the vase. Just lovely!!
Nice Hilti, the flowers were very nice as well, I can't wait to do this with my kids, thanks for the great creative ideas, and for all your content.
Nick the wild thing keep it turning my friend awesome project god bless
Beautiful!.. I want a black and white bouquet
Nick I love these!! Now I want a wood carved wedding bouquet!! You could make some money on them I'm sure and they could be wonderful airlooms for familys to pass down!!
You should try making more of these flowers, then putting them in resin and making like a big flat bowl or something to make like a small landscape!💙💙 love your work so much!!!
Haha when you walked into frame holding them it looked like a cocktail drink 😁 Pretty awesome job though, nice little ornament
Nice flowers Nick, that bigger yellow one, it would be nice if you painted just the center black, it would look like a sun flower. I would love to see roses. Always enjoy watching you. Thanks Nick.
Love it! I love the way your mind works! Even if it was someone else's idea! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍😁

I love them! Them not being perfect, makes it even better!
Super cute. And a great idea for gifts. You did a great job on it.
Ooooh! These are so pretty! Nick, you should try making a bowl with these! I'm not quite sure how it'd work, but it sounds cool.
Very good nick.this deffo the reason I watch you cause you will have a go at different skills and always make me laugh
Soren Berger is the patron to Christchurch wood turners in NZ, He did a demo for us making way bigger flowers with longer sticks but they were green which made it easier to form the flower, he then dipped them in coloured ink to finish. Nice job NZ from KH in NZ.!
Great job, once again, Nick!
Great job Nick. The flowers look really good.
I adore flowers, this make has made me very happy. One day, maybe I will be lucky enough to own one of these. Well done Nick.👍
Love the flowers and vase.
Oh my gosh! Love these so much! Beautiful work😊
Love this. I think in a bowl/plated, like the metal cogs one, with these sitting in clear resin would be lovely. Like the colours but natural colour stains would enhance. Excellent for a first attempt Nick.
That is pretty Cool. Another awesome turning wood project Sir.
Love the idea of wooden flowers!
