Now, here in the UK, we used to use "cage-wheels" on our farm tractors about fifty years ago - I'm surprised you took so long to catch up! 😂 I definitely think you needed more ribs across the "tyre" surface, or even add a third rim of chain around the centre line of the tyre, and adopt a tractor style pattern of cleats, maybe even use angle iron strips for the treads? I'm impressed by how those spokes held up. I personally would have gone for tangential spokes rather than radial, and would have used more of them. Great show fellas! Keep them coming.

You guys always do Excellent work! Thanks for these videos they are very entertaining. I think these would have worked if you put many more links in-between the inner and outer rim. Having only a few, the weight is mostly only resting on the inner and outer chains, with very little surface area, making the chains dig into the snow. I think if you finished adding more links in-between the inner and outer rim with chain links, it would work, they would be heavier though.

Could try filling in the cross bracing with expanded metal instead more like metal tread.
Brilliant once again, now weld the diff , chuck some nail heads on (or not) and try again....Keep entertaining us please :)
Would be nice to see this experiment again but putting all 4 chain tyres on a 4WD car.
This channel deserves way more subs
Nice JDM crv in the back!
It's amazing how strong they are I wonder how they would drive on concrete👏✌
Every episode be like: "HEY OLEG, DO STUPID SH*T, I FILM IT!" 😁👍
Awesome experiment! Really enjoy your videos!
A bunch of those on a dirt track would make an awesome race
You just got a sub for the 0 click bait. Your vids are nuts!
Nice interior !
Try to lock the differential and build the front wheel the same with chains great fun to watch
All other shows: "Don't try this at home" Garage 54: Try this yourself Lol that's awesome
The welder is patient Nice experiment

Lol awesome grocery cart welding cart
It's not winter there rn...
Amazing !
Those are damned good welds!
You should add some sheet metal on between the spokes and see if it gets better.
I'd love to see this on a frozen lake. Maybe it would have a better grip than normal tires!
This gives putting a set of chains on a whole new meaning.
With a posi-rear, this thing would be a beast.
i like your channel so much, another great video.
