Great work, at the seems is side panel sitting on top of bottom then welded or they just touching at the edges? Not sure if I make sense.

Because the lid is heavy.dont want it bent when the lid is open

Any chance I could accomplish this with a dc stick welder? If so any suggestions?

Yes u can. Dont weld too long at one spot.

30x20 inches.front height 14 inches.rear height is 17 inches.for the lid 32 1/4 x 21 1/4 inches.thanks for watching
