'Making things up even now': Johnny Depp's lawyer accuses Amber Heard & attorneys of misleading jury

Johnny Depp's attorneys began their rebuttal closing argument during the actor's defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard by telling the jury that Heard and her lawyers have mischaracterized the evidence in an attempt to fool them about what really happened. Camille Vazquez described all the lies Depp's team has accused Heard of telling, including all the allegations of abuse, which Depp has vehemently denied.

i especially loved the part best to me, when she mentioned the guy who was in the car because he was on his way to work but it that did not stop him from telling the truth. That was the BEST part of her speech because that REALLY really does say something. That video where he was smoking and driving but he MADE time that day to talk to them and speak in someone's case. That shows some serious dedication.

To me the most important evidence that Amber Heard was not abused are the audio tapes. What victim of abuse intentionally baits and instigates arguments with their abuser? I've known thousands true victims and they did everything they could to pacify and avoid conflict with their abuser. Never did they intentionally trigger the person they were so in fear of. Does Amber Heard sound fearful, passive, or cowering in any of the tapes either side played? No. Absolutely not.

Not evil in an intentional sense, but evil as in being a diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. The greatest gift Depp will give thus world is helping to shine a spotlight upon the danger that is the borderline woman. Such women have destroyed the lives of countless wholly innocent men and continue to do so to this day, often one man after the other and all without any accountability whatsoever. Society and especially the “Justice” system openly coddle such women even in the face of overwhelming evidence they’re lying and/or have along history of the similar, and it needs to stop, now.

Amber said she covered her bruises all the time. She gave testimony, saying that she put foundation on first, then concealer, then the colour corrector. I am a quarter Spanish, I have inherited dark circles (ever since I was a child), I have to use a colour corrector all the time. The colour corrector has to go first, as a base, to neutralise the colour you are trying to hide, if it went last you would see the colour on top of your foundation.

There are studies that shows that people with depression, anxiety, and ADHD (Johnny has ADHD) tend to have a higher risk of developing an addiction. First, it states as prescriptions, then self Medicating (taking more than you should or getting pills that aren’t prescribed to them) and final: Substance abuse. Alcohol (or drugs like marijuana) is a depressant. That is why many people use it to relax. But it can be hard to break the cycle because your brain is craving it. Camille explained that Amber does have that right but that no one individual has the right to engage in activities or perform any act for the destruction on the rights and freedom to another person and that's exactly what Amber did. She demeaned and brutalized Johnny with her right to speak out and tell her story hoping that the public will believe that a man can't be abused by a woman. Amber hates Johnny so much for not putting up with her that her main intention was to damage him, his credibility, and character. And caused harm to his reputation, and to have the public think that he was an abuser with no remorse. I'm so proud of Camille and wish her complete success in her career 🙋‍♀️

@@gilbert4394 Tone and inflection are not only acting skills. They are political skills. They are skills that any public speaker needs to have in order to get people to listen to and pay attention to their words. This is the definition of a Lawyer-getting the lawyer to pay attention to what they are saying and the weight of the words they use. Not all words carry the same weight and using inflection enables them to point that out. That's not acting. That's not playing a role, and that's not reading a script. That's injecting emotion into what you are saying so that your words are heard.

Cheap low blows and parlour tricks , Sitting in silence ignoring each other or making snarky remarks and on the flip side a display of truthful testimony. Not wallowing in self pity or using any embellishments. Showing kind and courteous consideration to each other. A small Thing like a reassuring hand on the shoulder or a shared candy or a friendly smile of reassurance all while putting on a tour de force of analytical , clear concise legal analysis with receipts for every lie . I’m honoured to see so many strong female professionals in this courtroom . I will be upset if he loses but he has cleared his name and won in he court of public opinion and has cleared his name in the eyes of anyone worth their salt. The fact she surreptitiously filmed him all while provoking him with that awful goading behaviour and the best she came up with was slammed cabinets. This guy really truly must be a gentleman . What a class act.

So video recordings and photos she took .photos been seen as not genuine.johhny simply did not pay her a divorce money so she turned on him .simple understand that. He seemed confused also I have criticise his team for hiding him from the press .police were not called in Australia he definitely was a victim of amber loosing his finger .voice recordings so bad .hard to listen to amber abuse and blackmail him put him so far down .no woman can ever speak to an abusive man in that manner its impossible. Women out there that kill their partners all different reasons. Johhny had vodka bottle at his jugular vein at his neck he would of died. Unbiased opinion is his team at that stage were covering up due to the worry of press finding out .and even if there was drugs in the house in Australia does not matter. He could of died so do think they should of got the police at that stage they didnt do it.very clear press caused such a fear ..they cleaned up instead .This should never happen again. With his team if are risk call the police !!get her amber aressted and medical attention is no 1.also amber is laughing in court she guilty

I LOVE the subliminal strategy Ben Chew and the legal team employed today. They had Johnny Depp wear ALL of his rings. 3-4 on EVERY finger. And he flashed them often for the jury and cameras...This, in itself, reiterates and highlights the sheer absurdity of Amber's allegations. That the evidence they heard and SAW...actually debunks her allegations. A sane, rational, logical person knows, just ONE punch inflicted man to woman...will leave a speed knot, for sure. Forget about bruising...her face would be lumped up. Multiple punches? With rings? That is akin to wearing brass knuckles. She might end up with an orbital fracture and possibly dead.

How is she allowed to keep lying with her lawyers ? Can she not be convicted for perjury ? What is the point of swearing an oath to tel the truth if she will just constantly lie and lie ??

Once the final arguments have made, the jury will go off to consider their ruling. This could take a matter of hours or several days, depending on how long they need to deliberate.

By all reality they should take no more than 30 minutes Amber has done nothing but a lie from the beginning to the end she has been caught in her lies over and over again there is no reason they should even consider her side she’s guilty she’s guilty seven times he’s guilty on all counts if the jury have to carry on for any longer than 30 minutes somebody has been bought or they did a real poor job picking on those people for the jury call if your honesty is there you’ll be over 30 minutes tops and I’m giving them 20 minutes to play with

They have about 6 points of law, if I remember the judge's instructions to deliberate about in JD's case and then another 5or6 points depending on their verdict about AH's case.
