Whilst all the other (super)car youtubers keep repeating themselves, rewrapping their Lambo for the third time in disgusting colours or buying their 52nd superhypercar, losing touch with their base more and more, you (and James JWW) reinvent yourselves and find new approaches and fresh new content. I love your Drive the World series and watch every single one as soon as I can after publication. With Most if the other car channels, I hardly watch one out of 5 videos - so please enjoy driving the world, keep up the brilliant videos and I am looking forward to each and any of the videos!

Fantastic content. One of many hidden gems in Portugal. As for the Land Rover, of course. The amount of work that they put into to it, will make it reliable, beautifull and one thing also, original.

A true artist right there "I will restore your classic Land Rover the way I think it should be done, and if you don't like it you can go somewhere else!" haha. Although he shouldn't really be calling himself OCD (no one should) unless he's actually been clinically diagnosed. It's sort of a slap in the face to people who truly do live with OCD which can be a debilitating condition.

I found my self watching your videos again in the last couple months, because of the way you reinvented your channel and content. This is car enthusiasm, videos that tell stories and that are not about just buying a new car every now and then, wrapping it or changing exhaust systems. Keep up the amazing work, you got a subscriber back.

About 6 years ago I bought a 1967 2a for $3500 USD. I completely disassembled, rebuilt the frame, engine, rear axle, and painted and reassembled all myself. I have been offered $15,000 and turned them down. I drive it two or three times a week and love it. You don't need to spend a fortune unless you want a show car, but then I would be afraid to use it as it was intended.

Really well shot and edited video. I love the aesthetic that these have, the style and attention to detail is amazing. But I think as an alternative to your other two cars these might be less than stellar. Maybe something like this, but with an electric conversion, Fully Charged showed off a Range Rover conversion done like that. At least then you’d have an interesting car to drive through London without getting the congestion charge.

Greetings from a Portuguese living in the UK. Sam your Drive the World content has been so far, mostly, off the scale. But, And I know I’m biased, the last three videos have been awesome, go figure! 🤪 Anyway, you just made my list of aces to visit when I’m back to Portugal, a ”bit” longer. I recon my family will appreciate (not) 😬 Ah, and yes, you should definitely get a car from them. I believe their ethos to the company is very much in line with yourself. A departure from what you had and currently keep on your garage but a nice complement 👍

I've got a Defender 90, brilliant thing, never lets you down especially in snow and mud and it will wade very deep in water. I know they are often considered very unreliable however we do not get excessive problems with ours considering its got 100k on it, perhaps a one off. If you do get a Defender and intend to wrap it then you have to take it off-roading first, do some by-ways and shallow rivers you'll love it.

you definitely need to buy an old Series 1 or 2a Landrover - any old beaten up one will do, so long as it is mechanically sound, drive it with the windscreen down and arm hanging out the window. Go driving up lanes and enjoy picnics in the country side. You will be cool both in temperature and looks. No need to waste money at Cool n Vintage (although you can if you want to)

Hey Sam, I think you just need to be honest about what your expectations of the vehicle are. I love these, but I’m not the right person to own them. I’m too fussy about my vehicles always working mechanically and being clean. For me, a ‘new’ Defender 110 pick-up is what best suits me, and if I ever move to the UK that’s what I’ll be purchasing.,
