What I Tasted: Your favorite foods, but better!
I want to show people how easy it is to make delicious and decadent vegetarian meals. I used to eat a good amount of meat and I still eat dairy, so this channel is aimed at people like myself before going vegetarian. Additionally, I saw the environmental impact of industrial meat farming through my Nutritional studies, and immediately stopped eating meat in 2016. I want to show that you can still have burgers, pizza, mac & cheese, fried chicken and all the other comfort food you enjoy, and that it’s possible with plant-based ingredients.
If you’re new to vegetarianism and don’t know where to start, then I hope you find a video that interests you, and inspires you to cook! If you have any questions, or need anything, please feel free to reach out!

Well sir, hm....there's just something about ....YOU. Wait that almost sounds like the guy, Joe, on the Netflix series called You😅. BUT, your whole demeanor and sincerity is so cool. I'm subscribing! I think Air Frying, and I don't know why I never thought of this, but air frying tofu is genius. I am sure it gives a more meatier texture. Thanks for sharing.

Really up to you in the sense of how crispy you want it. Minimally 20 minutes though.

Why do you all have the need to want your food to taste like meat

why do you want your food to taste like food? Your question doesn't make sense. A vegetarian/vegan may like the taste of something but have other dietary choices for their own reasons. I've been vegetarian for about 7 years, which means, I did at one point eat meat... so why wouldn't I want vegan ribs to taste like meat?

Why do people who are lactose intolerant still want a creamy liquid they can use to eat cereal? Why do diabetics want candy without sugar? Why do people who develop a sensitivity to caffeine still want coffee, even if the caffeine is gone? Most people who stop eating meat don't do it because of the taste. There are vegetarians I've met who legitimately did hate the taste of meat, typically they just had a bad experience as a child and their stomach was turned off from it, but for everyone else...it's easier to change your diet when you can still retain some of the flavors you grew up eating. I stopped eating meat because it riles up my ulcer, but that doesn't mean that I want to sit and eat a giant salad or--while tasty--my 500th bowl of beans and rice and guacamole while everyone else is eating Thanksgiving dinner. Why do so many people get agitated about other people's eating choices?

Good answer! I was going to jump on in on this, but you got this!! LOL I ate meat my whole life, made a few Vegan dishes for about two years that were amazing, and I switched to plant-based eating. I slipped back to meat (long boring story) ...But I'm back and I have to say, now that I feel I've mastered some textures and tastes that I love, I can go all plant based for sure. Channels like yours make the transition much easier.@@WhatITasted

Thank you for your nice comments! I understand that too well! I ate meat most of my life, up until about 7 years ago now. Texture and flavor... and availability are some major factors in vegan foods... there's a lot of products that miss the mark!
