man you used the built in render pipeline and compared the visual result with unreal visuals??

Great video! Very underrated!

We used Unity at work for 10 years and once we switched to Unreal we never looked back and I’m so happy we did. I even started using it at home for freelance and making my own game. Once you learn unreal which was easy at least for me you will see why it’s one of the most amazing and powerful engine ever built.

If only the learning curve wouldn't be so steep and Unreal has some user-friendly language support other than C++. Blueprints are nice but... But maybe is time to give UnrealEngine a chance because I had a couple of tiny attempts (more like things work and not to make something out of it) but always switching back to Unity with c#.

Finally! Nice! I had this question myself (working with Unity), but not sure I like it. As C++ pro myself in real life. If I see other pro says this, - I don't have any more doubts. UE it is! Thanks!!! 😂

nuh bro u just didn't match the lighting and post processing , bc unreal has lot of post processing by default and high quality enable while unity has optimized option turn on if u match u will get the same quality

Yeah there was probably more I could do to visually match them. However this was more for comparing the editors as a whole with programming/animation etc.

it's not a matching video, it's a comparison video. with x amount of effort put into both engines, this is what he got out. and honestly it looks like he put more into the unity project as it is in terms of effort. not to say you can't get great looking games out of unity...but if you're going to compare them...unreal is definitely a little more friendly out of the box, especially in terms of lighting...and the video shows that.
