@First Knight, @tyrell knifeworks I'm not gonna lie- I took a lot of knowledge about Damascus and Cu Mai knife thanks to Denis video- I would never make it at the first attempt without knowledge he share! The cool (and also the most amazing thing) is that we can actually learn from each other and there is no competition between us. We all (every knife maker/bladesmith in the world) have totally different styles- this make our blade always unique!

Those are some wild colors! Very pretty handle too. Wow! Good that the copper did not delaminate and was well fused together with the steel. Yes i like this one very much. Greetings, Jeff

Thank you Jeff! Yes, there was no delamination on the blade, no crack or warp so everthing went super well! Phil at PJT forging had much more troubles. At the end both of my first (Yes, this was first damascus and first Cu mai with copper) went surprisingly well, but maybe it's only lucky of the first attempt 😜! I'll verify it on the next project :)! Thanks for the support Jeff!

I don't know how hard or easy is to find components for the tools like forging press, heat treatment oven or belt grinder, but all of this machine I've made by myself and the building process is on my channel! @@justincraig398 I think Guidomininno have same problem as me: Second hand Tools are too expensive compared to the shape they are. This is why I still don't have anvil. I just can't find anvil I'm looking for in decent shape and price. I think this is what he wanted to say. btw: Where do you from Justin?

Wow!! I watch a lot of knives being forged, but this is one of the best looking ones I’ve seen , that handle is really something. The blade is beautiful too, but I like the handle specifically….

Thanks a lot! I wanted to create something fast to adjust and remove. The limiter is cool, cause in critical situation you can just pull out the bars (those at the bottom) and you end up with flat dies. Thanks for the support Man:)!

VERY cool handle build. Without narrative I can only presume that is a bluing process. Which if it is, we’ll done! Excellent build!!!

Thank you very much! I just had Knives Exhibition the day after "Challenge", so (sadly) I had to limit post production to minimum. Usually I do narrative. To answer your question, yes this is hot bluing. I've used it it a few previous projects and I love it. Make the blade so unique.

I am still in operation surgery waiting list at the moment and I am waiting for the right time to do surgery and taking out my gallbladder. This knife is beautiful, well done,. You have a new tools congratulations.

My grandma had same issue many years ago. I hope you will have surgery soon. After you get it removed should be much better. Yes, I've spend 2 months to make forging press but it's a huge improvement in my workshop. Now I can make damascus easily :)!
