Another amazing build by dad! We are so proud of him, dad recently past his journeyman Smith performance test, now he will be testing at BLADESHOW this June to find out if he is worthy of the JS stamp (he totally is imo.) -Josh

Like son, like father? Gorgeous work.
Totally blown away at the attention to detail, skill and artistry involved in the making of the blade. Being such a beautiful and intricate creation, I was left wishing we had a bit more than the 60 seconds given to admire the finished piece, especially after the journey of the build. The final result was truly stunning!

One of the top three Bowie knifes I have ever seen
There are craftsmen, and then there are these guys. Incredible work as usual gentlemen.
This has got to be literally the most beautiful knife I have ever seen. I swear it's the handle and guard that really makes it stand a head above the rest. I can't wait to see what he does next.
What an experience - this video, this knife, the narration. I'm floored. Thank you for sharing with us! ❤️

Es ist ein Vergnügen, dass Ergebnis dieses sorgfältigen Fertigungsprozesses zu sehen. Vielen Dank auch für die ausführliche Dokumentation der durchgeführten Arbeiten.

Your family craftsmanship is next level. So nice!
That's absolutely gorgeous! That handle is so original and beautifully executed! Your dad should be a Master Smith too!
Congratulations Royer Dad! That turned out beautifully. Have very much enjoyed seeing your progress from beginner to master craftsman over the last few years. I recently finished making my most detailed bowie knife to date and this completely blows it out of the water. The level of intricacy is fantastic mate.

Your knives are a work of art and a marvel. To learn that you've got to making some of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen in just 3 years shows the scale of your talent.
I’m rarely speechless but your craftsmanship is on another level. Well done sir well done 🇺🇸
You should do a collaboration with Jay Fisher. Your fit and finish combined with his cryogenic processes would be something to behold.
Absolutely beautiful! Perfect! Such attention to detail! Truly a masterpiece. You a gifted artist
Beautiful craftsmanship and very unique concept 👌. Exquisite blade pattern, and the level of detail in the handle is mind blowing 🤯.
Really nice handle and guard setup. Haven’t seen many people lately making finger loops for their knives. Great mosaic damascus as well, really bold and pronounced.
This might be one of my favorite knives ever. Absolutely stunning
You would never get tired of holding and turning this in your hands, and marvelling at the skill and craftsmanship that it took to make this absolutely beautiful knife.

Frog skin shape look good !!👍👍👍👍
Machinist and knifemaker here. You mill and do any rough shaping BEFORE you harden. Soft steel is much easier to shape with a mill or lathe than hardened steel. Props on the welding of all the seams to keep air out. Very good principle when forge welding. Keep up the good work!

I cannot believe you've been at this for only 3 years. That looked like a lifetime's worth of skill in that piece.
I see a lot of channels of knife makers and a lot of knives, but this one is superb, congratulations on this unique and beautiful work of art
The mythical ability of a blacksmith isn't just the ability to create a piece of art. It is the ability to recreate this piece of art down to a tee. And yet... it stays mythical for it always being a one of a kind knife of which none other exists quite like this. Even if built the same way, the pattern is always a new sight to behold. Love it so much, you have no idea how much I'd love owning one of those just to have it on display.
I just figured dad was a master smith watching his video. I really enjoyed watching him work. I want to see him in more videos instead of just being in the background. The idea of a gun knife with the backstory of the gun brass! The handle looked just like a gun stock. Awesome job
