Making the fabric for Purple Hibiscus

Ойын-сауық

Ibrahim Mahama's Purple Hibiscus is free to visit until Wed 17 July.
Get lost in this beautiful footage from Ghana, documenting how the fabric for Ibrahim Mahama’s Purple Hibiscus was created. The 2000 square metres of fabric which wraps our Lakeside Terrace was all made by hand, from the team who wove the market-bought cotton to the hundreds of craftspeople who sewed the pieces together at the Alui Mahama stadium in Tamale.
Purple Hibiscus is free to visit until Sun 18 Aug. www.barbican.org.uk/whats-on/...
