Yeah, their mindset was crazy because of Mike. They entered the court WANTING the fight and a lot of teams looked down even before the ball was thrown up. There is no team that good on defense, maybe the 89 Pistons come close but they were beating the shit out of people and the Bulls didn't need that.

@@humbledragger6411 Hmmmmmm, I still would give the edge to the Bulls, but it would be a far better match than any of these modern day teams that play in today’s generation of players ✌🏾 Geeeeeeeeesssssshhhhh that MJ was just an animal out there, but I would love to have seen it go down. I was heart broken to see the Utah Jazz play The Bulls instead of that young Shaq Kobe Laker Team, because The Lakers was stacked with raw talent, but Del Harris didn’t know how to truly coach those guys back then. The year that I am referring to had, Shaq, Kobe, Eddie Jones, Elden Campbell, Cedric Ceballos, Nick Van Axel etc etc etc. I mean the team was stacked, but I just believe that had they met, the more experienced Bulls would have shown up and would have taken over 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well simply put...if we could time travelled the warriors back then and both teams played according to those rules....not only the warriors would be easily demolished but they would be crying during halftime of each game from the relentless manhandling.... Now if we could time travel those bulls in recent times and do the same according to todays rules....the contest would be an actual contest ,the warriors would have an easier time getting their shot off but the sheer physicality and defense would ultimately wear them down and lose probably in 6....thats best case scenario for them...

Noway can I sit here and ever compare the 90’s Bulls to any team out there period, because it just isn’t fair, but do you think that in them tossing Draymond out of that Series it allowed Cleveland to win that Series vs Golden State 🤔 Listen, I am no Golden State fan at all nor am I a Lebron fan ( as he just doesn’t do it for me ) & he never did & size is not everything when it comes to basketball. @@shade0180 I am glad that somebody else sees what I am saying too. Hey shade0180 I am simply old school ( old skool ) lol and I will never stop being a Laker fan but those Bulls back in the 90’s and it wasn’t a easy thing to do back then. Vs Those Pacers, Knicks Orlando Magic and the East was packed with hall of famers and talent 😳 Shade I been watching basketball for a long time and I know a good team when I see one. But I just don’t see any real solid teams now a days, but the teams of today are simply missing something or maybe it is just me. ( Shucks ) I’ll say it is just me, but it just seems like there is something missing in todays NBA & at first I thought that it was just me getting older, but MJ didn’t star in the latest Space Jam for a reason & I think he feels the same way that I do deep down inside. I am so happy that they decided to release The Last Dance, because that just touched on the struggles of that entire team as a whole. What you think ? I just don’t believe that there is another team better than the 90’s Bulls and I am a die hard Laker fan. I don’t believe any of the Steph Curry led teams would even come close to the Bulls period. If you play by the old school rules, then clearly the Bulls would crush todays Golden State Warriors but if you even play by the new rules of today, who is going to guard MJ & stop MJ from averaging about 55 points per game ( & I am being modest here ) then you still have Scottie Pippen who will average at least 35 points vs this no defense playing Warriors Team and they allow those guys to play 2 : 3 zones 😳 & that is not real defense at all. Like I said, I am a Laker fan at heart 💛💜 but the Bulls of the 90’s was far more superior and they could beat you multiple ways

  • @natedablack7857

Exactly... Hell, there are SEVERAL other TEAMS I can think of from MJ's era, that would wreak havoc on today's Warriors, particularly under the old rules: the '96 Magic, Shaq & Kobe's Lakers, Hakeem's Rockets, let alone MJ's Bulls LOL!! I keep telling these Gen Z kids that the Warriors style of play, ONLY works in this era, due to the current rules and how teams are now constructed. And many of 'em are starting to realize it. I point out HOW OFTEN that teams who played that style got exposed in the playoffs in the 80s/90s, particularly when facing good/great defensive teams. I also remind them that it took for a CP3 hamstring injury and 7 whole games, just for the KD Warriors to be able to beat him and James Harden's NO DEFENSE playing Rockets LOL!! I explain to them that they'd get exposed for a couple of reasons: 1) the top tier teams back then were more balanced with good/great/dominant frontlines/post players, to go along w/ good/great perimeter shooting to make you pay for double/triple teaming their post guys 2) the rules allowed for more physical play, particularly on the perimeter. There was no "freedom of movement" back then; perimeter defenders were allowed to hand-check/forearm you to death, where they'd be able to get up on/under you, preventing you from consistently getting open looks, which made things THAT MUCH HARDER for a perimeter-oriented team. Under those circumstances, a team would REALLY have to work much harder to CONSISTENTLY get open looks to create good shots for themselves or for a teammate. This would be a NIGHTMARE for a team like Golden State to have to contend w/ on a NIGHTLY basis. Especially if they were facing a team w/ good/great post play(ers), surrounded by quality perimeter shooters.

Kukoc was a 6'11" point guard who played small forward for the Bulls. And guys like Randy Brown and Jud Bueschler were pesky defenders who MAXIMIZED their playing time. Jud had the reputation of being a SPARKPLUG whenever the Bulls starters are having an off nigjt.

The teams were built differently regarding the style of play. 90s was about centers, triangle offense etc. Today it’s about the three as the first option. 90s bulls would foul out today due to physical play. Todays Warriors would have a hard time getting 3s back then because of forearms, hand checks, hand being part of the ball etc.

Bulls sweep. 5 at the most. The Bulls would be able to effectively defend every position. The Warriors couldn't guard the Bulls. Jordan would average 40+. He'd shut down Steph or Clay. Pippen could guard anybody he wanted and Rodman would probably get Draymond tossed early. It would probaby get ugly.

Bulls in 5. Especially with 90s rules. Too physical for the soft warriors.

The 96 Bulls would destroy the 2017 Warriors check out the match ups MJ against Klay Thompson Klay would barely score Pippen vs Durant Pippen would clamp KD Dennis Rodman vs Draymond Dennis would out rebound and get in Draymond head Ron Harper vs Steph Curry now Steph would still get his but Ron Harper will make him work Luc Longley vs Zaza Pachuila even match up but Luc was stronger and he was definitely a better defender and better in the paint Now when we speak about the bench it’s not even fair the Bulls easily had the better bench with Steve Kerr and Toni Kukoc alone don’t get me wrong Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston would’ve got theirs but the Bulls bench was fundamentally tough I had a chance to see both of these teams play The Bulls was by far the better team their defense would’ve frustrated the Warriors and stop them from doing what they’re best at The Warriors defense would’ve been slaughtered by the Bulls offensive chemistry they have nobody that could check or slow down MJ or Pippen

Of course Dennis would get in Draymond’s head… and once that happened he would get his normal triple single :D

5:43, Bird and magic are out of the league by 93.. Rodman, Harper is the second 3 peat bull, they aren't part of the team that demolished the early 90's. Most people can't even name any of the 91~93 bulls outside of Horace Grant.

@@mikefromnyc4111 no doubt that the Bulls are winning that series against the Celtics, but what's so intriguing to me about that match up is the 08 Celtics had the small type of size and athleticism in positions 1-5 and the intensity with KG and Pierce to match the Bulls energy!!!! Bulls still win for sure but they're most definitely going to have a real fight in that series!!! That's why I'd love to see that match

@@alanela6761 I can appreciate your opinion on this, but the 86 Celtics weren't athletic enough nor fast enough to handle the 2008 Celtics!! Having said that though it truly depends on which era's rules that the game would be officiated with. If they play with the 80's and early 90's rules then I might agree with you but to say that it's not close is a much

@@curtayars7344 the 86 Celtics were way more talented and would pass circles around 2008. They wouldn't have to run. Talent can trump athleticism.. I would love to watch 86 wipe their ass with 2008 and show them which numbers actually belong in the rafters
