New SKK here, not even commander level 80 yet. 116 pulls into the banner with 0 cube stock left, I watched this video and immediately did my last 2 pull for the day from the daily cubes. Was blessed with UR ship. Must be the power of KimoCheese videos.

So glad I got her in 30 pulls. I've gotten every UR gacha ship under 50 pulls so far and I hope others get this same luck as me.

The advice I always give new players is: don't spend resources on the permanent banners!! Most of the ships in the heavy and special pool can be obtained through medal exchange or summer/new year invitational. But no, dumbasses wasting 300+ cubes to get Essex only for us to get a free one a month later then complaining about not getting Ulrich deserve it! (Not projecting my frustrations against a dumbass friend, nope, not in the slightest)

"Most" ... Richie, Biscuit and Nagato are build only, I am not saying to do it but I can understand pulling on Heavy and Special trying to get then. Biscuit got added to the pool so I guess a lot of people did pulls to get her during the rate up event (that I didnt do), I rolled on Richie re-run without getting her. Invitation is a wild card because I could get flute crane as I have her sister but not her but I also dont have Lonely Queen either. Also I can understand the lure of Eh Sex even if I got her in some event as a off-banner.

As for Nagato and Bismarck I think the best option is to wait for a wishing well, although, it's been a while since Nagato became permanent so she might be added to summer invitational this year

@@TheRealJohnux That was literally me when I first started too. I started because I saw Kashino's L2D and the Dreamwaker event was still going on. My builds went exactly the same way as OP's. I got 6 Shinano's and I didn't get Kashino until about 190 kek

cubes from commissions are a meme to me. I go by multiple weeks without seeing them, only to see 1-2 cubes drop and then it's all over again. In the half a year I played I can confidently say I have gotten less than 50 cubes total from commissions

im a fairly 'old' player of AL i think i played around 1st year anni but tommorow is the day i get cheshire (took a year break)

Thankfully, I got Ulrich by roll 20 on the second day. Oddly, it was Magdeburg who was the longest to get. I was trying to not spend event currency for her in the shop so my chances were from D3 and build pool. D3 gave her first, still haven't gotten her from the build pool. At least all checks for this event are done though, dropped my daily build to 4 ships only and am working on rebuilding for the next event.

I get cubes via dailies and commissions sometimes skipping other viable commissions if I need cubes. The shops sometimes have them available for gold. . The merit shops will sometimes have them. I managed to get one from there today.

I've been playing both JP & EN since launch and I only learned about that 2-1 farming trick a couple of months ago.

Many people got all ships fairly quick. Keep it up and it will happen.

Me back then: hoarding cubes until 0, spending gems for oil, not saving any mails from MT Me rn: overloaded oil, overloaded coins, 800+ cubes, saving 40+ mails from MT, and wisely spending gems for dock and waifus

Got 2 of her and the other ships too :D its not even 1 week since im playing , im so happy!! Currently farming for Roon.

Since I have to pull Shinano at her pity, the other 3 URs Shimakaze, NJ and UVH, I got them under 10 pulls. Hope I could keep my streak on the next one.

i guess im very lucky. i had 150 cubes and on day 1 of event i ended up with 4x UVH. dying of cubes right now. as a new guy i had no idea about 2-1. i may do a little per day

40 CUBES for all gacha ships except for Maggie (and I even got all 3 in the last 10 pull). I've been doing this routine and wearing a lucky jacket whenever I do my pulls. It's silly but maybe all is needed is a optimistic attitude before pulling. As for saving, I've been playing this game nonstop since a month after it opened. Cubes are no longer a problem. I'd just farm Chapter 12 on auto like crazy right before the event to get enough coins.

If I missed new jersey, when will there likely be in a banner again? Also I don't normally spend on normal banners, just events, but I stopped playing for quite awhile and I'd like to pull Tosa eventually

Rerun might be around 1 year ++ later but for tosa? wait for wishing well rerun (Normally once a year) But goddamn wish well always aarive when event is running too so stock your cube wisely

The Irony is that I got Ulrich in my first 33 pulls (and then again at Pull 59, 76 and 93) and I'm yet to still get one single Adalbert. It's absolutely infuriating.

Got a question. I finally got her after like 150 or so pulls. Atm I’m at 178/200 pulls. On last day if I don’t get a second one, should I just spend the 30 or so extra cubes to get a pity dupe? Since she can buff other fleet iron bloods I was thinking it might be worth it to have 2 but not sure if that’s better or to save.

Got UvH 80 pulls in.. just did 10 pulls a day.. now just doing 3 for the daily missions and still have 200+ cubes for the next banner.. getting cubes from commissions and mission progressions, sometimes from the shop with in game currencies.. not spending cubes on research and pulling randomly from banners.. I'm still not progressing beyond world 10 not because of lack of 120+ fleets or oil, I just dont progress a chapter until I get the drop only ships..

Got my Ulrich at 6 pulls. The first two pulls were 3 builds, and the rest were 10 (equating to 40 on the pity counter)

I have spent 314 cubes already and I havent got her yet.. It's such a pain when this is my second time missing a UR (shimakaze last time with 250 cubes..)

It’s ok I am level 78 had 160 cubes to spend. I had no chance of getting a ur ship like this right now . But got all the other ships tho. I don’t feel bad about it and the worse part is I actually got a skin for her on the box I bought that I will never be able to use I might try to message the gurus to see if I can get rubies in exchange for her outfit if I don’t get her as a ship since I won’t be able to use it. I thank you greatly tho for all the help. I will grind for the remaining time.

Last day of the event and I haven’t pulled Ulrich in 50 attempts.. any idea when she will be coming back after this event? Because I really want to unlock her.

What exactly does Celestial Body do? Classify a ship as Muse still doesn't allow 2 UR ships in a fleet. Wonder if there is a reason to keep 2 same UR ships.

yeah i got ulrich but i didnt get shimakaze but that was to be expected since i was kinda burnt out at that point and wasnt playing then.

What a lucky guy here, i spent around 150 or more cubes and only get 3 ulrich and 3 magdeburg , but no elbe or aldabert :(

1-4 also trigger commissions I had gem commissions too

Can u do an updated guide? Like some good scenario to farm or how to see if a gun is good or not, because I don't know what shells are for example, if a balanced gun (light-medium-heavy damage) is better than a gun specialized for each tipe...pllsssssss

Most Guides generally are still worth watching, even basic ones, since the Game is mostly the same today as back then with a lot more ships and convenient features added. As for the Guns or rather shelltypes, there ls basically no gun with generally balanced dmg modifiers. Right now there is normal/ap/he/SAP and technically Super heavy shells, but those aren't marked as such. You are best of to look for some recent guides, but that may also be guides from half a year or older.

I did around 123 rolls. The only event ship that I got was Elbe, and I got her in my 1st 10, or 2nd 10-rolls.

Is this game f2p friendly? Can it farm mats in stages on auto?

probably minimum 8 hours, when your comission is full, you can't do shit but wait

The cube missions have been bad lately. 9 times in a row I didn't get any cubes. Same with the last 8 hour gems mission.

I wonder if whaling for cube is a good idea. I got 6 Elbe, 4 Adalbert and 0 UvH with 260 cube and I really need UvH to complete my Iron Blood Fleet

I still think the big commission that costs 1200 oil is a reliable way to get cubes. Especially for casuals who arent spending all their oil. Every time you do it the rewards change and one of the reward options is multiple cubes guaranteed.

Just missing Mag and Elbe, hopefully I pull both in the last few days of this event

i have four ulrichs and multitudes of event and off event ssrs but I've yet to get a single prinz adalbert edit: 5 ulrichs

Essex if you don't have shokaku or zuikaku lying around already in your dock. But if you already have 1 of the car div 5 then you should grab the other.

I think I got lucky this event that I got Ulrich on the 1st roll

2-1 if you are farming it anyway is great for getting common DDs (and certain IJN DDs that have -1 oil cost) to level 70 and 100 affection, since their cost never goes up, it's the one exception to no EXP from 2-1. Rules for Wisdom Cubes in AL: 0-400: Get more cubes is your highest priority. The only time you should spend cubes is in new events with a particularly good ship or your daily LIGHT build. Don't spend any on PR ships/Research and Cube commissions/shop drops are highest priority 400-500: It is alright to occasionally spend cubes on something other than what's listed above like PR ships and non light builds, however it should be limited because the buffer really isn't big enough if you truly unlucky, light accidentally pulling from the wrong pool. Cubes should still be a high priority. Don't pull more than 1/day for permanent ships 500-600: Don't worry too much about cubes, but still want to expand the buffer, RNG can still screw you. Spending on PR ships is fine, cubes are still high priority but not the highest 600+: You're probably fine, be wary when dropping to lower tiers though.

You should Probably still try to pull for Ulrich. The HMS will get a Gacha UR, no questions asked, but an NJ rerun could take atleast a year to happen or longer.

4 UR ship per year, so thats an UR event every 3 months... so I think 3 months is enough time to stock up 400 cubes... coin on the other hand is harder because of the coin cap... I could only stock up 66k coins, so that isnt enough coin to pull 200 times.
