Really helpful video, thank you, most kind of you. The music in the background was a little distracting though but luckily you spoke loud enough to compensate. But maybe next time have it a little quieter?

Thank you so much , the most easiest thing in life are the most difficult to figure out, so thanks ! I had some hard time to try those wash techniques, do you mix your paint with water before ? I use acrylic in tube so it’s more thicker than house paint. 😊

Yes when I'm using thicker acrylics I'll spray a lot of water in it ahead of time, and I'll spray the canvas with water. I like it thin enough to be able to wipe away should I want to

Thank you for this video. Very helpful. When you prepare the paint for the layers or "washes" do you add water to it on your pallett? Or do you only spray water when it's on the canvas? It looks thinned out already when you put it on the canvas.

For washes I will usually spray the canvas first before I add paint, and spray on the pallet as well. There are more ways to go about it but this method works fine for me : )

Keep your wash mix at less than 30% water, otherwise you dilute the paint binders too much, undermining the integrity of the entire painting.

Stop watching as soon as he said mark making. I hate that.
