I found that when I want random loose strokes, I use my non dominant hand. It really works because the dominant hand wants to control and make specific tight strokes. Try it. It’s great for highlight and adding accent or contrasting color details.

I can not thank you enough for this little exercise. Tried it and had trouble loosening up at first but then started to really let my perfection go. The real "wow" moment was when I took them apart. Each piece was something I would have never have created on my own.

Isolation is unhealthy for all of us....new subscriber. Pretty ridiculous rules IMHO. Where we live we basically get out & haven't lock-downed & haven't been sick at all. Love your teaching!

Standing and painting from the shoulder without a preconceived attachment to outcome gives your paintings great freshness and energy! New subscriber.

Well Well Well this is great! I have a long story 65yrs but don’t have the energy to explain. I have been searching for over 12 months for what where and when I actually produce repetitive good art. I fortunate to stumble upon an outlet for frustration and to find my style. I am a little late in seeing your video. Who do you call when you need to chat about art? Ha ha it’s not obvious to many people it’s actually you tube that has brought my journey to art. My lucky stars.
