What is the length of the brass eyelets, how much longer do they need to be than the plywood thickness? I assume the plywood tang is 1/8" thick, so is the eyelet 3/16" long? Thanks in advance, and thanks for the videos.

Why don't you make the trailing recess and just use platic slot hinges, they move almost as freely as yours

I am not sure which video shows a close up of the stab pocket hinges but the way I am doing it there is no hinge gap line

For scale ships , or for those high end flying machines , eg " 80's F3B glider RUDDERS, pre -composite era . to make almost gap-less in between TE of Vert fin & LE of Rudder.---to duplicate result as designed on dwg board. another advantages of this concept of hinging are: most freely , least load needed from servos, and I think ABOVE ALL is that sorta SATISFACTION gained with this HOBBY--CRAFTMANSHIP, INNOVATIONS, ENGINEERING...etc....difficult to described in words when compared to nowadays super-foam ,telemetry, gps, GOPRO, autopiloting, ...gyros ..multi-xxx......just DIFFERENT...not better or worse issue..
