  I loved your comment about sending the “Dancing Girls” home. When Mom and I were shopping and called Daddy to let him know we would be home soon, he would say he was glad for the heads up so he could get all the Dancing Girls out of the house!!!

  He never said "it doesn't matter" about weight. He said that lightest is not necessarily best. A plane can be TOO light, just as it can be too heavy.

  The Navion was the last plane my dad built. Good kit, just with the thick 1/2" fuse being laser cut, it has an angled kerf from the laser (cuts through with a "V" shape). I have the airframe and will probably get it airworthy over the winter or next Spring. Always thought it looked like a civilian version of the Sterling Mustang.

  Hey sparkywhat color is that red/orange? Its very vibrant & just pops out at you. Great color! I might use that color type against white canvas on Gieskie nobler. Its not real vintage looking but "Oh well"..
