Back in 1980 I worked in a contract machine shop. One of our jobs was to make a mold for those type of lures. We made the master of harden steel and pressed it into a aluminum block. Of course our mold made 48 lures at a pressing. The video showed an very effective method of making a mold.

Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

I carved some pike plugs out of an old broom handle, they came out really well, I painted them up and kept them as ornaments, they're on the living room wall, held up with blue tack, id be devastated if I lost one, but it must be a good buzz catching a fish with a home made lure!

Wow awesome swimbait man! These would work great where i live in the states for walleyes! Cannot believe anyone would thumbs down your video?! Love the perch collored one! The red ones are nice too! One of my favorite swimbaits was a strawberry red with silver fleck and it had a white twister tail. They discontinued them and i cant find them now. Ughh i used to alternate between paddletails and twister tails. Something about a swimbait body with a twister tail the walleyes just love it! They like the paddletails too dont get me wrong. These were by riverside lures yum infused seaside minnows they were called. Black shad. The strawberry red with white tail was called the samurai tail by riverside yum. Now known as the mud minnow but the colors aren't the same anymore. Wish they would bring back the seaside minnnows!! Good stuff man! Thanks! Fish on!!
