This is craft. Craft brings satisfaction for its own sake. There is joy in making these things with your own hands; and fishing would be even more of a pleasure using lures you created yourself. Thanks for sharing, Paul.
Man, the action on that is better than some store boughts

One of the best instructional videos I've seen for mold making..... your attention to detail and resourcefulness make it easy for me to pilfer your good ideas!!
I am really impressed with the techniques you used to make this, I can use this to make other things as well. You made it look very easy and the end product works great! Good job.
I just love those negative comments... "But you can buy one for 6c". We fish from our own shed built boat. Your time and effort making the lures and filming the process is appreciated. Inspires me to realise more of my own ideas. +1

i think i no longer see these type of comments as wholly negative, they kind of confirm that not everybody is like me and enjoys doing what i do. I make things because i enjoy it and i seldom get that feeling from anything i have bought, maybe that is unusual or possibly not, but i have my own prejudices, i look at jewellery and think what is that all about. In the uk we have a saying about the shed, that it has saved many a marriage. Hopefully i will get the next film finished in a couple of days, thanks

@@PaulAdamsTheHandmadeFisherman it must be horrible to be a person who cannot use their own hands to create but must buy every single thing in life. Making stuff is what sets us apart from other animals, also the patience one develops is a lifelong asset... I've recently started making cage & block-end feeders.. Fishing is my passion & I could sit by a river or lake forever !! 😎 I also do woodworking / electronics / machining metal / mechanical repair and a host of other hobbies. I'm not a master of any particular one discipline but more a "Jack-of-all-trades" & I like it that way... 🤗 Love the vid & subbed !! 👍😎
The action on that lure is amazing! Great work!
Incredibly satisfying to watch. I imagine that it is massively more satisfying to craft!
Man that could catch a ten pound bass the action is insane 🖒
That was a video worth watching. Awesome process - cool art form. Thanks.
Love the action in water. Great job!
I love the details. So perfect. Thank you for the tips
Really interesting to see, so much work in it, and so many different products :S thanks for showing.
Thanks! Another superb video. To say I'm amazed does not begin to describe it.
Way cool. Very impressive video.
i thought it was great. i also appreciate that it didn't include a bad soundtrack like the majority of youtube videos

Wow a lot of time and thought went into this process. Thank you
I love your videos, you always use things the average person has or can easily get.
You are a artist man! Amazing!
I bet its so satisfying catching fish on a lure you made yourself
That's a lot of work, but looks like fun. Great job. Might try it myself come winter.
OH I LOVE HOW IT MOVES IN THE WATER. MAN O MAN......WOULD LOVE TO USE THAT ON MY NEXT FISHING TRIP.
Nice video and lure. I've picked up a lot of good techniques watching. Thanks.

@@PaulAdamsTheHandmadeFisherman how much Cost one of them when you doing IT your self
Did this as a kid of sorts with a Creepy Crawlers toy set that I owned. I actually had some luck with the fly and centipede, but they didn't hold up all that well. After one or two catches the lures would be all but demolished. Still I remember being happy back then because it was something that I made.
You are incredibly clever 🤙🎣
I don't even have half the equipment for this but it's awesome all the same! Great job.
Great work once again Paul
You have the patience of a saint my friend. Nice work.
congratulations sir, i sat in awe
your work is exceptional, congratulations! I'm going to make my lures! thanks
Very nice and easy to make it for myself!!!
I'm really impressed. Thank you for your precious video.

amazing job. I love your videos. I've learned a Lot from you and intend on beginning to make my own lures. thank you
perfect lure, excellent working,,
EXCELENTE, GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR TUS CONOCIMIENTOS.
the mould materials costs about £2, then the plastisol costs about £.06 per lure. But the initial outlay can be pricey as the platisol and colours are normally sold in quantity. I make things for fun not for pirce as i find there is always someone somewhere selling lures cheaper than i could hope to make them. I suppose also i get to make what i want not what the tackle shop stops. Thanks for asking
I wasn't expecting it to look that good in the water.

These days they are a lure that I often overlook but to be honest I have caught a lot of fish with these and a few different species, so I always have one or two in my box for slow days
Class act Paul, Well done
Wow thats awesome!
Great action ! Might have to try it..
Amazing, I have to try this
I also caught with your homemade prawns, these looked good made up,I caught a lot of fish with these last year,we look to you for inspiration, something for everyone,I enjoy watching your videos,Cheers
the body is just over half which means the hook stands really proud which i find is better for hook ups with pike. Thanks
This is too satisfying
I appreciate having soft plastics more than before I whatched this seen how they are made
same here, found your video by accident, great stuff.
Здравствуйте, слов нет, отличная работа. Все ясно и легко понять. Спасибо за видео.
Cool handmade!
maaate, you know.... there is nothing better in the world then watching your videos on a flat screen, on the couch, after a great day of work where your boss hates you for being alive aaaand sipping on a nice scottish single malt - - PERFECTION .a
Wow great job man I could not do this you have some amazing skills
Wow so much work goes into making these lures, if only you could buy then for under a dollar
seus trabalhos são otimos !!! parabens ! your works are great! congratulations
That is one amazing job

Greetings from langkawi island malaysia..Great Video..Good Information..
Ty so much paul. Its just like you said it's only pitting on the outside. Not very many bubbles inside. I'll try to warm the mold before pouring. And I used chopsticks to mix the plastic. I wondered why you used a butter knife.
Amazing idea
Wow that realy swims well
very cool ! - thanks - great video
if you look in the description there is a link to a pdf that gives some more information and also places to buy like Makelure and Jann's Netcraft. Cheers and good luck
thank you very much paul :)
nice looking bait! I occasionaly pour plastic baits too
It's swimming like a little fish!
Nice!! I'd like to try pouring my own baits for bay fishing. The ones you make would definitely get bit!
i can pull it from the mold after 3mins and it olny needs ten minutes in the water to fully cool. I think to start out it can be pricey but the sheer volume of baits that can be made make it worth while Cheers
This video is quite amazing.
awesome work
sei grande. molto bravo. e competente complimenti.....
looks great
Wow!!! Nice!!!! You are amazing ;)
Love this guy, talk about Joe average in the woods. Tex may not be the greatest hunter in the forest but Noone loves it more.
You sir are welcome, great job. Time to take a break and go out and fish. Happy Tight lines ;)
It's a success!! :D Wow I really like it!! Gonna give this to my pop.
Awesome thank you for the idea
Wow! It'very good
I hope you made 1 million of these and sold um or sell your mold I didn't realize how much work it takes to make these great job
i will be doing some soft plastic videos but i am working on some other lures at the moment. Cheers
Morning Dieter, I have used this with lead, it is not recommended and the molds deteriorate quickly, there is high temperature version which gets up to lead melt temp around 320 deg c but i have never used it. Thinking of jig heads or spinnerbaits?
nice i used them all the time
looks good!
Great video Paul, I am just getting into pouring my own lures so will be working my way through your videos on the subject. Keep up the great work!

Very Creative.
nice job!
You are a genius! So Far so Good! Amazing job. Thanks for sharing!
Really great job... nice ;)
Dude...that's a lot of work.
cool I can make this all day with different colour
Wow amazing...like.
Awesome job Paul. Seems a lot simpler than I would have imagined. It must be cool to try some funky designs. Maybe try a lure with a fat duck bill tail to compare.
워우‥ 오집니다요ㅋㅋ
Brilliant!
This was a very interesting video to watch. In the beginning I was ready to criticize this but by the end and then seeing the action in the water I was really impressed. I kind of wish I didn’t see this video because now I want to try this so much but do not have the work space at the moment. Maybe in the future. Great video and great lure.
