It was a great movie. Actors were perfectly casted for alex and Henry's role. The chemistry was fire. The only complaint i have is the movie was a bit in rush. Before it's release it was a 3 hour movie, almost an hour is cut. If Director already knew that movie was going to be long he must have made it into a short series with 8 episodes. Anyhow i am truly satisfied with movie and it was worth the wait(i waited for an year for this🤭)

@@lauracottom7425 not necessarily. with the extra chapters you can see that the author already has an idea of what happens to the characters in the medium and long term, there's plenty to explore. it also depends on amazon's intention, the deadline and the money. if it takes too long they lose the hype that the movie is causing, and a book takes time to come out, let alone wait for it to come out and then create an adaptation. it's a lot of rework. but, i'm just hoping that the sequel comes out, especially the sequel to the movie.

This is probably one of the most romantic movies I’ve ever seen. Kudos to the team.

This is one of the best gay movies ever made. The chemistry between the leads was so intense and next level. It's possibly one of the best gay couples ever. The supporting cast was awesome as well. 10/10

One couldn't ask for better casting. Taylor and Nicholas are perfect in their respective roles.

This was an amazing movie! The chemistry between Nicholas and Taylor is what made the movie so realistic. It was a truly beautiful love story and left all of us wanting more. The love scenes couldn't have been any better, they weren't just having sex but truly making love. Thanks for sharing this and letting us see behind the scenes.

the expressions on their faces while 'making love' were so realistic, you could tell exactly when penetration took place and it did so in a completely beautiful way.

Love the outcome of this movie! Taylor & Nicholas were fabulous in their part and brought such believable emotion and sarcasm to the screen. No other woman would have been better than Uma as president and mom to Alex. The supporting cast was absolutely fantastic. This was a joy to see and get a few peeks behind the scenes. Thanks for putting it together ❤

The actor’s chemistry was so spot on that made me want a sequel even though we have only one book. I loved the movie even though there’s a lot of changes in it :) so sweet to watch them

They may not have been able to light it themselves, but the museum scene is my favorite in the whole thing. It's all very beautiful.

I read it years ago when like it first came out and then didn’t hear about this movie until like a month ago but was excited to watch it when it came out and started rereading the book but only got through a little before the movie came out. It’s funny how much I remember and don’t remember from the first time but yeah it’s definitely interesting I think to read it first, watch it, and then read it again with the movie characters and setting in place even though there are many things from the book that didn’t happen in the movie and just some changes in general

Great movie from start to finish. Definitely need a sequel. All of the actors were spot on and you can't improve on Nicholas or Taylor. Unbelievable chemistry and such humor too! And they are both gorgeous. Just perfect.

I love the feel good movie. The portrayal of the actors is amazing! The theme of the movie is so timely and love is a timeless theme. FYI - West Wing was an Emmy and Screen Actors award winning TV series from 1999 to 2006. Martin Sheen, Bradley Whitford, Allison Janney, Dule Hill, Stockard Channing, Rob Lowe, etc. all stared in the critically acclaimed a series.

Just over a month since its release, I have watched it practically every day! Someone mentioned a director's cut - I absolutely agree.

I have never really been a reader, but when it came to anything in the LGBTQ+ Universe I have expanded that thought, I have read quite a bit now. But one of my favorites was this book, "Red, White, and Royal Blue". I was nearly finished with the book when I found out it was going to be a movie, so that hyped me up big time. I LOVED the casting when I found out, because I knew Nicholas from "Cinderella" and Taylor from "Kissing Booth" and I was like OMG YES! lol When the movie premeired I noticed a lot of differences from the book. BUT I am not complaining, although I would have loved to see Alex and June and their sibling banter like they did in the book, I feel like Nora filled that spot in the film. I feel that the book and the film are their own entities and I am okay with that. I enjoyed the book a lot, and I enjoyed the film a lot. This is a keeper for sure! I need to add it to my collection outside of Prime Video.

My husband and I thought we’d give this movie a try last weekend. We weren’t sure what to expect, but were pleased to find it funny and romantic at the same time. The love scenes were very believable which you don’t find too often in LGBTQ films. When the film ended, we found ourselves asking........ AND? Will we see “Red, White & Royal Wedding? Our 33rd anniversary is in October, perhaps we’ll give it rewatch when we’re relaxing in our cabin.

I loved the movie and thought the casting was perfect for taylor and nicholas as Alex and Henry they both have great chemistry and banter on and off camera, it’s also interesting that taylor and nicholas have both played uma thurman’s sons so I’d love to know her thoughts on that, my only complaints is it felt a bit rushed so we didn’t really get to savor some scenes with Alex and Henry some scenes were cut that were teased and the ending was a bit lack luster, I expected something different something more but overall I’m happy with the movie and have been watching it on repeat, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve watched it since it premiered, there’s supposedly a 3hour cut of the movie according to matthew but he said he cut a lot of footage that wasn’t Alex and Henry so my guess is that extra hour of footage cut won’t be a lot more Alex and Henry footage but the other cast, he also said there was more jealous Miguel and I don’t know if I wanna see more of that guy so I kinda want the 3hr cut and then I kinda don’t but we’ll see as fans have started a petition to get it so let’s see where that goes

The two male actors were perfectly cast with incredible and believable chemistry. I think you can see the friendship had to be there in the first place for the romantic energy to feel real. I also love how the sex scenes felt real with two horny men attacking each other like animals. :)

All the jokes about the height stem from the book. In the book Alex is way shorter than Henry. Since Taylor is taller it became a running joke between the actors and it made its way into the movie. 😊

Oh yeah, the movie is good. The cinematography is fantastic. And Nicholas and Taylor really delivered convincing performances. Yes, some of the good stuff in the book didn’t make the cut. But, the extra Alex and Henry screen time was worth it.

My only complaint about this masterpiece is the short duration like?! I need moree pls!!!! I'd watch it religiously even if it was a 100 episode series 😭

Yeah, that line is kind of hack... calling West Wing "an old movie"... and then following it up with a clip of an ACTUAL old movie, starring Charlie Chaplin! Very sweet rom-com of a movie though, with off-the-charts chemistry between the lead guys.

As much as I loved the movie and loved how the actors portrayed their roles, it felt rushed. Big time. Things happened way too fast and didn't give us enough time to see their feelings for each other develop. I think that as a short series or something it would've been wonderful.

I'm sorry, but The West Wing is an old movie?!?! It's a TV show from the early 2000's. It won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 and a Peabody... an old movie about politics in the White House... One of the best shows ever produced. Aaron Sorkin is a legend.

God I love these two as actors people and lovers, all my respect. I should be so lucky. I hope before I die I can have someone to love as they loved each other.
