Don’t put too much pressure on yourself for the big day! You just don’t know how things will go or how much there will be to do in the lead up! Weddings are a very busy time people do be stressed enough with just having to turn up. Love the content keep it up ❤

I think you did an outstanding job for your first attempt!!! And I also think that you have the right idea to practice with just plain, uncolored buttercream--it will save you time, money, and frustration. Amazon here in the States has what are listed as “Plastic Fake Dummy Cupcakes - Cake Decoration, Practice & Display”, sold in packs of a dozen for only $15 USD. They’d be great for you to use to practice your icing techniques instead of battling parchment paper. They also have dummy cake shapes for practice. You might want to check to see if Amazon in the UK has them. Good luck!!!

The cupcakes looked fab! I bought our wedding cakes as plain cakes from Marks & Spencer and decorated them myself. That was my limit. I’ve been making my own sourdough for a couple of months. Very different recipe to yours though. Great following what you get up to. Hope Sam’s Nana is ok

I feed mine morning and evening, I try to stick to same times. BTW both my pooches were staring at the TV at your doggies when I was watching video. They like watching videos of other doggies. 😮

I think your cupcakes look fantastic... I would believe you if you said you bought them from a bakery. I have to make a rainbow cake this weekend (Pride month :D ) I've made a couple before and I've decided to not make them from scratch now (I don't like separating egg whites and wasting yolks) so I use basic vanilla cake mixes then do the colouring etc myself. I certainly second the cream cheese icing, which does tend to mean carrot cake... good choice! You are making me consider trying sourdough... we shall see. :)

The Range have compost on offer 4 bags for £10👍 white magnums are my favourite 🍦 when I'm on holiday I have one at 4 o clock everyday 😀 well done on plot inspection 🕵️ especially the pond 🌿🐸🐝🦋🐞 I repotted my sunflowers from 4" pots into 12" pots and they're galloping can't believe how quickly they've grown - could you put your dahlias on a shoe rack or your outdoor table until they're more established 🌺 the burgers looked great 😋 and the buns look mint ❤️ I bake with my grandson Noah 🥰 the kitchen looks like a bombsite afterwards but the scones/buns cookies taste lovely 💙❤️

I got some of the range compost the other week! My local seems to have sold out now though 🥲 I’m taking the dahlias to plant at the allotment very soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I find baking so fun I sort of don’t mind the mess 😂 🧡

Oh i'm now far enough in the vlog to see and hear your ideas for the cake! I made a top weddingcake and 3 tears of cupcakes. With roses and hearts I also have the pipingtips for flowers. It takes practice, but fun to do. The nice thing is, when you want to do the buttercreamflowers is that you can make them ahead and freeze them! Then pop them on the cupcakes (wich you can also make ahead) hours before you need them.

I made my wedding cake, flowers, decorated the reception hall and made my bridesmaid dress. If I had known then how stressful it would be, I would never have done it. Everything, apart from the dress, was so last minute and I felt really flustered on the day, rather than being able to drink the whole day in and enjoy it and create beautiful memories. I can hardly remember the day at all and can't remember my vows or the music we chose. If you are a super organised person you will be ok. I thought I was but it seems I wasn't, lol! Good luck

Oh wow! I’m hoping to DIY a lot but I do have the help of my family who are very skilled, including a florist thank god 😂 I’m just going to play it by ear and see how we get on. We’re honestly not bothered if we just get a £10 cake from the supermarket in the end, as long as we get married ! 🧡🧡

My dog lies like that. I call it spatch-cock dog! 🤣🐾🐾 Is Ted Mini Schnauzer cross? My dog is half Mini Schnauzer - maybe its a Schnauzer thing!

Great 1st attempt on the cakes Emma . Bread looks fab BTW I may need to try this 😋 but does it not affect your gallstones , fresh bread used to really upset mine (now removed) .
