You can simply cut the muffler off and weld a pipe to the resonator, sounds pretty good. Take the heater hoses and connect them to each other. Cheap and effective.

If there's one type of bolt I hate, it's exhaust bolts.

tell me about it.... thing just looked like a blob of rust... and the location to break them sucks. definitely wish i had one of them heat things that just heats up the nut.
What did you end up doing with the heater tubes? Just plugging?

i actually just pulled the tubing off and left them open. i may find something to plug the one on the intake housing though.

it wasn't heavy at all, i think i paid around $60 from Japan to WA using FedEx

yes, it just bolts in the muffler. i removed it though
