Best penetrating fluid is homemade....50% lacquer Thinner and 50% Automatic trans fluid......put in a spray bottle to use.....you will love the results....my spare tire holder nut on my acty was frozen solid with rust....let it soak for 30 minutes and it came right off.......

The black is actually Hyper Dipped lol. Figured it would be easier to spray that part since the hooks would be hard to wrap around, but it looks good and will peel off when I'm over the black!

What would be cool is a custom tow bumper on the blue truck , that way you can still see the detail of the engine and the exhaust but at the same time have the little bit of safety of a bumper with the convenience of a tow hitch

Man those Trucks are Soooo Stinking COOL.. I want one. But I can't justify paying insurance on 2 trucks.. What I'd like to know is, what size closed trailer/ and weight could it pull... I'd have to purchase 2 so I'd have something to drive while I work on one lol😂 Gr8 Vid it would also be nice to know what you would be asking for that truck if you dis decide to sell it??? 😇😃

Imo that exhaust should have some kind of a hanger for support , all the weight on the exhaust manifold studs doesnt seem like a great idea ,sounds awesome though i like it

Motorcycle chain lube works grate as a penatrant,it's made to creep and flow,and it stays wet for quite a while

I spend plenty of "wasted" time watching your videos! In fact I just picked up my 1994 sambar van at the Port of tacoma on friday! Went great, Gwen Salisbury did all the customs paperwork and am sure glad, because it was way more then I expected. Anyway its in pretty good shape, but I want to get a manual(got any suggestions?) and change all the fluids. Any advice on where to get parts would be great - thanks a lot - Owen and Tim

connections? there's an o2 bung in the header so it works with carb and efi engines. not sure what the other one is though you are referring to?

how did you get a collectors plate?

Ya im sure my saggy mount set it farther down too. all good, that tab wasn't even being used with the stock exhaust lol. missing a heat shield since i bought it

Did you upjet the carb to keep it from running too lean?

naw, just left it all alone, i wanted to do a wide band and see what it was running but haven't yet. someday soon maybe. be a good test
