Making My Favorite Sea Salt Soap and Contemplating Life

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This sea salt soap is the bubbliest, creamiest, most fantastically scrubby soap of all time I dare say. Filled with coconut oil, sea salt, eucalyptus essential oil, kelp, and dead sea clay, this was a fun one to make. Thanks for watching ♡

What a beautiful soap! And what a beautiful thought thread running through your process ❤ I am also someone who keeps dreaming up more creative projects to fill my time and my thoughts! Lately though, I feel other thoughts intruding below the surface - WHY am I making these lovely creations? My apt is full to overflowing with soap and supplies, molds, tools, equipment ... and I am not actively selling my creations! What am I really avoiding thinking about? 😮 Thank you for this nudge! 😅

I too need to get out of my way to create something beautiful. Fear has been holding me back to start and leave my 8-5.

When it comes to this particular soap, do you cover it or leave it out in the open? How long until unmoulding?🤔❤️

I unfold and cut after about an hour and a half, when the soap is still a little bit soft but no longer squishy. Once cut I leave the bars out in the open and uncovered 🙂

Gotcha, I believe many of the brands in my list offer smaller sizes -- maybe try checking their shops to see if they carry the size you are looking for :)

What a beautiful comment, thank you so much. I added a link to the immersion blender I like in the description under 'supplies'. For essential oils, Mountain Rose Herbs makes really wonderful, pure, organic essential oils. Let me know how the creation process goes next week!
