Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey Guys, Migs Here! In today’s video, I make some more progress working on the newest build, a Half Scale NASCAR with an engine out of a 1980 Honda CB750C swapped into it! I fabricate my own jackshaft System in order to make it drive, along with get the new sprocket onto the axle and rebuilding the carburetors! Thanks for Watching! Just an observation..I’m a little concerned that the way you have welded the pillow blocks, especially the one standing up on the engine side, won’t work. You don’t have much strength in the direction the chain will be pulling and I see it just ripping that pillow block off. Props to you for getting out and learning though keep it up.

Mito migs, I'm not being a hater, just a little advise. The pillow blocks are cast iron, and mig welding them to steel will not hold. The weld will be very very brittle. I recommend doing exactly what you are doing, but redoing the jack shaft mount to be a bolt on for the bearings and reinforce it to the frame. Otherwise keep at it mate. Going to be sweeeet

  • @tas_fpv3366

With all the power that the engine is going to produce, you might have to brace the bearing blocks somehow or they probs bend but keep up the work, this is going to be mental when it's done.

Order a long keyed axle. Run it through the pillow blocks that can be bolted to both sides of the slanted down bars that your one pillow blow is already on. Run the same sprocket as what’s on the engine to the first sprocket on the axle. You’ll have a one to one drive ratio. Then add another sprocket to that axle the same as the other 1 you’ll already have on it. Then add your big gear to the drive axle. And that’s the best way to do it.

@Moto Migs With the harbour freight welders you have to have them on the right setting but sometimes if you just drag the gun back but still let it puddle up it will lay down nicer for you. Give it a try on some scrap metal.and rule of thumb tack stuff first and then make the welds nice.they don’t have to look pretty but cleaner work is better than sloppy work.

Hey buddy, dont listen to those assholes that commented on the last video. Youre doing ok, and youll get it! One suggestion though, you need to brace that block thats closest to the engine. Maybe another bar that goes to the back of the frame. If you leave it the way it is I guarantee the motor will torque that thing right off the moment you let off the clutch!! Also, if those blocks are cast iron, welding them will never hold. Keep on keepin on!
