Making Leather Wallet : Long Zipper Wallet

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Long zipper wallet. This classic long wallet meant to use without folding the bill. (There is Japanese ideal of using money that, the way of using money have to respect it too.)
We did make the card in 2 levels and have the easy zip pocket in the middle. And we do demonstrate how to place the main zipper part. And to awl from cover through the inside need to be very be careful.

    Great video as always. What size of your zipper acrylic (length-width- depth)? Does the depth of the zipper acrylic is important? I saw some Louisvuitton zipper wallet, the depth is 2.2cm, if so, how depth is the acrylic zipper template?

  • @craftsmangus

    @craftsmangus

    6 жыл бұрын

    Its depends on the zipper too. But first, have to think about the design. Some bag design quite thick like for more of pocket. Then finding the zipper to match the design eg; zipper No. 03 / 05 /08 , match the design according to the zipper...anyway. The length and width of the acrylic will be follow you design. The thickness follow the zipper width ( the weaving texture of zipper = acrylic thickness + leather thickness).
