    It's just such a great feeling when you're making and creating toons and the buzz you get when you stumble upon an oyster or gem of a sound which fits perfectly with the construction.Bit like an Easter Egg hunt. It actually takes me back to childhood and the rush of discovering something unexpectedly new and special. I' m 67 and only picked up Maschine about 10 years ago (Mk1) after fiddling with the Roland MC303...and that was quite a jump, haha. Great video, thanks and cheers and keep makin sonic poetry, but most of all, never lose your sense of fun and exploration.

    Just wanted to say that this vid helped me a lot making the decision buying the Maschine+. Not only does it show how to make a cool track, it helped me manage my expectations on what it is and what it isn't. Now that I have a Maschine I love it so much. I think it's such an amazing device to start sketching and jamming right away. I didn't even attach it to my PC for the first month and now that I have it's even better. When I jam in front of some friends they are always blown away by it. Thanks for the great vid!

    @distillednoise I do the same. I have Ableton and Reason+ but eventually all the "parts" of my music end up in Ableton. I use Maschine and Reason+ to develop and assemble my parts but Ableton is my assembly line to get to final product

  • @distillednoise

    @distillednoise

    8 ай бұрын

    Definetly not :( the passage between maschine and ableton is not so easy. You can open the maschine software as a plugin inside ableton, but mainly if you want to use ableton power you need to turn everything from the maschine into audio for what I know. But I still think it is a good machine since you can easily export to audio all the channels etcetera.

    Maschine is great for live stuff. And the expansion packs take all the work out of the basic sound design. Would never use it standalone though, always as a vst plugin

    I would love to be able to load a kit and just lock in a sound, then load another kit in the same group but the lock sounds don’t get replaced. So essentially a lock feature. I have to load another group to look at other kits then copy and paste a sound over into the original group. Only downside to this is it overrides any routing into my other daw I.e Logic Pro.

  • @distillednoise

    @distillednoise

    @@distillednoiseno it’s not possible and if you can find the answer I’d most appreciate it! It’s quite surprising considering it’s a basic function with other samplers. For example loopclouds drum sampler can do it!

  • @LostTouristOfficial

    Just imagine being able to load a kit with the patterns and lock a whole channel and midi for example the hats, Then load in another kit and lock in just the kick and so on until you have a groove your happy with then can always replace the samples if need later on. I’m thinking for midi aswell as the sample. It’s just bizarre it’s been out for years and I’ve been requesting it for ages now with no luck 🍀

  • @LostTouristOfficial

    I only use machine for jamming out a bass or synth now and it’s a shame as would program drums if it had this feature so I use Atlas and Loopcloud Drum instead.

    Maschine with software, absolutely yes Standalone, hell no I work exclusively with Maschine since the day of it's release and I would never part with the software : no other software in existence is better optimized for for music production example : ABLETON can runs 10 massive synths at once and Maschine runs 45 instances, no glitch no hiccups: it has surface limitation : but not really, it does way more than anybody believes it does : I wonder what M3 software will introduce? 😁😁😁 Cheers 🥂

    I'm a longtime Ableton user, and have both P3 & M+. If you want a "remote-control-for-Ableton", Push is clearly better... but as a creative sketchpad groovebox, M+ totally wins for me, despite some of it's limitations.
