I had so many cockroaches in the apartment. That's when the coil idea came to you. I built a huge 2500 watt/48 volt coil over 3000 watt 380/48 volt transformer. I then glued a metal clip to the roaches' backs and let them hop through the coil. All cockroaches are vaporized. Super !!!

Well, I just recreated this circuit and it turns out that it works wonderful!!! In my case I use a 3 volts power supply but with a small 2.4 zener diode to regulate the voltage… works so great !!! thanks for share it. The transistor I used was the 2N2222.

I built a stick welder using 2 microwave oven transformers, using this same principle. I removed one of the two windings from each transformer. I replaced them with 14g solid copper wire wound 30 tines. The new windings were soldered together at one end and the other ends were the ground and stick holder. Power was introduced to the coils left in the transformer but not connected to the new windings. Induction power!

I want to recreate this exact same circuit, but I have some questions, there are some discrepancies regarding to te circuit, you show there’s no resistance on the schematics, but you just have a 1k resistor at the base of the transistor? Also, the main coil is 10 clockwise turns, then 10 counterclockwise turns?, what is the thickness of the copper wire you just used on your circuit? Thanks for the help!

@@MungfaliK I just use a 2N2222 transistor with a 1k resistor on its base and copper wire # 28, 10 turns clockwise on one end then 10 counterclockwise the other end, connect the common of the coil to vcc, one end to collector and the other end to the base of the transistor via 1k resistor. The emitter hits the ground and that’s all… very simple circuit easy to make…
