Cinnamon roll French toast recipe
Serves 2
2 each *DRY or OLD cinnamon rolls, sliced in half
( * using bread that's dried up is important here, not only will it soak up more egg
custard it will also prevent it form falling apart while soaking )
1 each large whole egg
3/4 cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon orange zest
Toppings:
Fresh fruit like orange, banana, berries or anything you like
Butter
Maple syrup or honey
