Idk if you’ll see this, how do you get the eye pieces to stay inside the clay? Mine appears to keep slipping out and I’m not sure what’s up with that

would it be okay if i paint it directly without gesso base?

Yes I’ve painted plenty without the gesso base, it should be fine :)

No need to heat, I leave them out to dry overnight

Does the diamond glaze keep the earrings from braking?

They are durable with or without it, but i think it does help. I like diamond glaze for the glossy finish

Hi, I'm planning to make some jewellery with air dry clay but I had a doubt, what will if it comes in contact with water after the product is made?

As long as it’s sealed (with resin, Diamond glaze, etc) it should be fine. I’ve accidentally washed pins left on a jacket and they are still good even after going through a washer and dryer

i saw that you use multisurface paint, but is it ok if i use acrylic paint instead?

Air dry clay does shrink slightly when dried. This is due to the release of the moisture during the drying process. Through trial and error I found if the clay is cut thick enough it is very strong

I’m not quite sure, I don’t have a specific thickness really I usually just wing it lol

Hello, I personally do not have any experience with polymer clay so I can’t say for sure how they compare. Air dry is pretty durable once fully dried and glazed though 😊

No, air dry clay does not need to be baked. Depending on the size of your project, it can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days to fully dry. Let me know if you have any more questions 😊

Yes even though they are not 100% waterproof, they are water resistant

You’re the first person I’ve seen wear a mask during the sanding process. Is it toxic? Is that the only time to wear the mask?

Yes I wear a mask during sanding so I don’t breathe in the tiny particles. I do it just to be extra safe
