Love! I enjoy making cards from scraps too. I dump everything I have on my kitchen table at least once a year to see what I can come up with but my Christmas ones always end up being my favorite.

LOVE the cards you made for us to see! They're gorgeous. I mostly make cards for our four great-grand children and they're very personalized, as I use their names in the sentiments. Takes me more time because it takes me a lot of thought to come up with the designs and I rubber-stamp images as well as using ready-made card-toppers, which are a lot of fun and are time savers. I love to bling and glitz up the cards, but I have to use Stickles for the youngest three greats so they won't choke on something they can pull off of the cards. Our oldest of the four is soon going to be 12 years old, so I can stick gems and other bling onto her cards. It's so much fun. I enjoyed your video so much. 🥰❤👍👍👍👍👍

I was working on some cards last night trying to use up scraps. You gave me some additional ideas. I like your method of mounting the scrap on the cardstock and then cutting instead of trying to figure out measurements for the scrap and then making a mat. Thanks for sharing!

@@KarolinasKrafts I don't know how you get the cutting of the scraps by fussy cutting the cardstock as you're sizing it up to tape down! I used to be better at cutting straight, but now I'm old and had cataract surgery several years ago, I just cannot get anything straight anymore. Your cutting looked so well-done!

That cardstock was beautiful, if you are tired of it, I will surly buy the rest in 2023...love the channel. I just started doing cards last year and now I'm going crazy.. love what you did here.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS🙏🏾🙏🏾

Love your cards!! I noticed you kept reaching for the Peace word paper, several times, then ended up using something else altogether. I do that a lot. My original plans don't alway happen, but, it all turns out good.☺️ Sometimes the plans turn into something else like tea light candles, tags, envelopes for gift cards, whatever I need.😊

Check out tape depot. You can get the ATG tape so much cheaper. Just make sure you get the one for your tape dispenser.

I even cannibalize envelopes that come here if there are some nice images on them. It's fun. I also cut down used Christmas cards and morph them into new ones rather than throw them away, especially the handmade ones.

Hmm I’m not sure how long the actual time was but I would say a t least a few hours for the ones I did on camera! I recently did some summer cards using scraps and posted a video on that and those took me 1.5 hours for 6 cards.

It could be the glue! I recommend bearly arts glue (what I was using) and it's linked in the description or art glitter glue! Both are great! I noticed when I used to use a different glue it would sometimes get that crumpling effect but not with these!

As I mentioned in the video 4.25 x 5.5 was when it’s folded already. Pre-folded card would be 8.5x5.5 scored at 4.25 on the 8.5 inch side
