Woo Hoo! Your dressing room is almost complete! I think the cornice will be a wonderful addition! Will they also add it along the top of the cabinets along the side walls that connect to the sloped ceiling? I’m obsessed with applied moldings, so the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned! Personally, I would definitely avoid them making little cubby sections in your makeup drawers. There are so many organizational caddies you can buy to customize the organization of various shaped and ever changing cosmetics! With products regularly changing priorities, depending on seasons and skin requirements, having something structural that can’t accommodate those changes easily will be a royal pain! But mostly, keeping those permanent sections clean will be a nightmare! Liquids leak, powder dust settles everywhere and the mess can be a real chore to clean up even without dealing with all those nasty corners! At least with individual, removable containers they are super simple to empty, pop in the dishwasher and no crusty, goopy gunk stuck in the corners like with the permanent sections. Also, you are giving up valuable inches of storage space with the thickness of their dividers! I hope you reconsider that pricey decision and opt for something that can easily shift and change to accommodate your needs! But that’s just what I would do. If you decide to go the permanent dividers, maybe ask them to not make it so permanent where you can lift out the entire divider grid for easier cleaning. However, I have no ideas how to get the permanent dividers to accommodate all the different sizes and shapes and beautiful packaging! Just something to ponder... ☺️😊🥰

American from NC here: I never use a kettle, don't even own one. If I need to boil water I stick it in a measuring cup and throw it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. But when we boil things in a pot, we just heat the water in the pot on the stove. The only tea anybody drinks in this house is 'sweet tea', or, sweetened iced tea, over ice.

DYSON is seriously amazing, I agree with you. I had the first model they ever released from 7 years and ended up breaking during the move due to movers not protecting it properly. I had a Labrador at that time and lots of carpet everywhere and that Dyson was a workhorse! And now I also have a cordless one and it’s just MAGICAL!!!! I love love love how I just grab it off the charger and start vacuuming without being annoyed by plugging it in and keeping a track where the cord is so you don’t damage it. If anyone is on the fence, I highly highly recommend it. Quality is amazing and it’s true what they say, dyson never loses its suction lol

I would like to include my input as a bit of advice as I know you are a bit on and off about the rug from what it seems. I think that getting a rug with not a lot going on would be a better option as I think having the rug another shade of pink and with shapes can take away from all the other beautiful features in the room such as the bed. Possibly a cream rug with gold trimming to tie in with the gold outline on the cushions and it means it its subtle but also has a bit of something. I did just want to say that although the piglet pink bedding is gorgeous I do think maybe trying out the floral bedding you had gotten for the attic bedroom in a video a while back would look gorgeous. Love to You , Charlie and the Doggos xx

Totally depends on the area you live in and your family background. I don't see it here very often in California, but all of the families that I know that moved here from the East coast seem to have them. I think it's slightly more common here to either have a built-in hot-tap, or just microwaving your water in your tea mug. :)

I’m from Chicago, USA and everyone I know has a kettle or teapot, which is what we normally call it. I can’t imagine not having one. I used it for tea and coffee even when I had my kurig. I use an electric kettle now because my old stove top one got melted ( the plastic handle) from a stove top fire. The electric one is so fast to heat the water. I drink tea about 4 times a day. I loved it so much that I bought one for the break room at work.

I find people tend to just use the Keurig, Nespresso or drip coffee machines unless they like tea.

Wait, the remote control magnifies to the top and I’ve had all this time and didn’t know that? We have a hot/cold one and I love it! I guess that’ll teach me to read the pamphlet! We use it everyday, even with the air conditioner on, because I just like the feeling of the air circulating! Lol!

Here in the US, we always had a tea kettle. My mom referred to it as the coffee pot, since she used it to boil water for coffee or making instant coffee in it. I have owned many cute ones over the years. I sort of have a tea kettle fetish. I am currently without one and have been trying to decide on which cute one to purchase! I enjoy watching your videos while sitting out on our deck having lunch. Truly a highlight of my day. Thank you for sharing your passion us!

vallebeth val hairston , thanks, as a few years ago when I was looking for a replacement for my cannister vacuum, the vacuum repair individual mentioned that Dyson was all a big hype and it was not the best performer at that time, so I have been very sceptical at that time. Good to know, as I find it really frustrating dragging along my cannister vacuum for my hardwood floors [my entire house] . I also need something that would vacuum sofa and chair upholstery well. I only have the entrance carpet to vacuum and no other carpeting involved. 🇨🇦

We have kettles that you put on the stove here in the US. My english husband likes an electric one, so I just bought him one. I'm used to using the kettle that you heat on the stove top. I do like his electric one. It's definitely faster.

As an American, I’ve had different kettles throughout my life, nowadays it’s the microwave for hot water 2 minutes for hot tea or the Keurig maker, which dispenses hot water as well, I will say, it’s not the same as a whistling kettle lol! Now the product from your country, that we (myself and hubby) are obsessed with, is the Smeg Toaster, YESSSS! We are going to be heading to Williams Sonoma to make our purchase, if they don’t have the color we love “cream” we will purchase it online, we also love the smeg coffee maker, for now we are satisfied with our Nespresso and Keurig.

I live in USA and we call your kettle...tea pots which most Americans have. Not a new convenience. That Mac n Cheese looks great. Will have to try it. Thank you Stay safe n well 🥰🤗

The rug in pink room is growing on me, the lighting was from a different angel and was quite pretty. Maybe sage green or light pale white sheets on that gorgeous bed would be prettier though. Love the shades of pink in the room🥰
