Dylan🤣🤣🤣.. Modeling for dad.. So good.. Dylan needs the side step to walk up the bed, he's fancy 🙏🤗🥰❤🐈❤🥰🤗🙏 BLESSED KITTY🙏🙏🙏
So many projects dedicated to cats 😁 great job, much respect 😺👍
Used curtains from second hand store is a great idea for picking up lots of cheap fabric. I'll have to remember that tip.
I love how you make amazing pieces out of wood that would usually end up in the rubbish dump
I quickly ran out of storage space when making stuff for etsy, I tried so many different things to sell but always ended up with another item that sat in storage and took weeks if not months to sell, I finally rented a booth in an "antique mall" which allowed handmade items and had a little better luck there. Well, enough to keep buying new material for future builds. To be honest I was always worried people would become enamored with one specific thing I built and would be stuck "manufacturing" that item until the end of time. Sorry for the long winded post. Love your video making skills just as much as your woodworking, another fine job! Thanks.

Thanks. I will probably run of storage space too soon, but my new rental garage will help (need to make some space saving racks - a future video perhaps). I’d love to see some items you’ve made by the way. I may look in to the shop/craft sales side of things at some point in the future
Keith, your approach to wood working is infectious! We have an old entertainment center that we no longer can use and normally I would just set something like that out on the curb with a "FREE" sign attached. But now, you have me rethinking my strategy. I noticed that the two drawers it has might fit under my work bench for more storage and the oak veneered plywood might come in handy for a future shop project. I can use the glass from its door for cutting out paper templates. Thanks a lot Keith! I may never throw anything away again! :)

Thanks Chem, great to hear 👍
It is nice to see your shop evolving and your skills improving, well done Keith.
Your problem is your cat is now famous and knows it. 😂 he hasn't got time for your modelling.
Cute! Great use of reclaimed materials.
Just came across this. Super cute idea for my 8 cats! I noticed this isn’t in sale any longer in Etsy :( I’m hoping to follow along and recreate it! Thank you
haha you should get a stamp made up "Dylan approved"
Another super enjoyable and, very helpful for a beginner upload! You seem to be absolutely LOVING your workshop and your woodworking. It comes across in the uploads. That’s probably what’s making your uploads so enjoyable. Thanks
I love all your videos and love when you admit mistakes unlike other youtubers also you could attempt a double bed if you got another cat
Great video! No matter how skilled you are, so much of woodworking is quickly noticing and fixing mistakes and I love that you include this in your videos
Quick tip- use batting over the foam for no puckering and it was unnecessary to pull that tight.
Very nice. Great job. I need that bunk bed for my cats.
Nice project Keith. Thank you for sharing.
Very cool video! Great job reclaiming the wood.
Tip: Cut about a 1/4” to 1/2” off each corner of the board before covering with fabric. You’ll get a nicer corner and it will wear better.
How did i miss this
Senior management (the wife) loves these. She’s kindly informed me that I’ve now got an excuse to “piddle about” (her words, cleaned up a little) in my garage this weekend to try and make some for the furry little gits that dominate the house and crap in my garden. Cheers! 😳

How'd it go
nice project, good use of the materials you found, next time you upholster something like that round the corners on the backing board because the sharp point may wear a hole in the fabric, just a small radius would do, but nice work.

Fun build Keith! Part woodworker part engineer always!
Looks great!!!!
Cute. I’d love this for my cats.
Dude you're spoiling your cat fiercely! Awesome! :D
Very cool. I hope they sell well
wow, 7 hours of work, Keith....I cannot wait to get our beds. Living in a small space with 5 dogs and 3 cats, this will help them so much!

Very cool idea!
Your cat has already chosen her bed that is why she does not care much about this one !!!! It is a very nice and well done project as always . I really like the the stripes !!!!
Great project!
Didnt realise you were from Norwich mate. Lovely city. I'm from great yarmouth. Great build.
Hahaha..keith the mattresses look very prison like. Yo Dylan, your off to San Quinton! Meow!
Hi Keith, nice to see you have a bit of time to do a KZread project, you made a good job of those animal bunk beds, but has much as I like dog's, I would never go to such lengths,a good thick woolen blanket has always been good for cats and dog's, and on the floor, sorry to say this but its a wee bit over the top, never the less they were well made, and don't forget to take care. ,

Thanks Colin. I agree it is over the top, but sometimes I get more excited about making things for animals than for people!

A man after my own heart. I always approve of anyone that goes above and beyond for animals. I'm definately going to try this for my two dogs (an elderly patterdale terrier and a greyhound pup) though they are sleeping on my bed as i type! P.s Dylan is awesome!
Those are awesome! My cats would love them (I have 3) Unfortunately so would the 2 dogs who are WAY to big, but they'd give it their best shot anyway! Would end up with a 50 pound, and 65 pound dog hanging off snoring up a storm instead lol

Good idea!
You had the same idea as me with those sauce bottles 😆
Nice. Good way to recycle.
Little tip when upholstering like this. Chamfer/round the edges of your board and have your foam cut slightly oversize, it will give a neater finish.

That cat picture is hilarious :-D
Great video. I might build this slightly larger so it can fit humans as our cats seem to have taken ownership of our bed! Lol

Great job and I hope you sincerely apologised to your cat for the inconvenience of having to pose! I hope the beds sell fast.😊
Hi rag n bone man, does the wood have to be untreated to unharm the cats? Love your work.

Little late but yes. Untreated is best
Hi Keith great video as always just one question I want to make dog beds to sell also and I have one problem. It is hard for me to find a animal safe finish and i believe that having an safe finish on a dogbed is important and then i see you using just regular boiled linseed oil so are animal safe finishes really necessary? Greetings from Serbia.

I think that once BLO is cured it is safe, as far as I know at least.... if a dog was to chew on it maybe it would be an issue but I guess these beds would be no different to chewing a coffee table which might be treated with BLO too? Interesting comment and I’ll do some more research as the last thing I’d want to do is cause harm to animals! Thanks

@@aleksamaker8118little late but what he said..once boiled linseed oil is cured it's perfectly safe. It can also be used on cutting boards.. although I still use mineral oil and bees wax for that..doesn't take as long to cure
Keep me busy next week 😀
Awesome project Keith, I’m 16 and am trying to grow my channel. I am doing weekly uploads, do you have any idea of what else i can do to grow my channel. Your advice and help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Charlie

Thanks. Your content is good, I’m subscribed :-) keep it up! Weekly videos will mean it keeps growing. Content is key. Eye catching thumbnails are also a good idea to draw people to your videos instead of others. Hope this helps

I thought this would be a good project when I saw your smaller cat beds
Miaw.
My cat (Evil king raffles the 1st) has asked me to ask you, can he come for a sleepover? and do you serve a full English breakfast in the morring? non of this European brexit nonsence... lol....At this rate you'll be able to open a cat hotel..maybe call it Caton House Hotel...Good simple Project, well done!
