Today was my first time using a mate and bombilla for my yerba and thanks to your videos I've had no difficulty in getting everything ready. I've learned some things on how I'd approach it. Thanks for not gatekeeping this in any way and making feel approachable.

Couple of questions for anyone able to answer. Are you able to use cold water? How much mate are we supposed to use for one serving or is it just an eyeball type of thing? What’s the preferred mate brand to drink/start with? Does it have to be the process he does or can you just put in whatever mug you got at home?

I can't remember who tested it, but pre-heating your thermos with hot water before filling will keep the temperature longer. Not that I always remember to do that, or let the water sit around long enough to matter.
