If i were to make a frame for a mirror that won't go on a wall, could i glue a thinner piece of plywood on the back to make ot sturdier? Or would that ruin it?

Yes, there are videos that show this technique. In fact, I’m about to do the same to one of mine (I have 4 leaner mirrors I’m repurposing). Going to put the plywood on the back and then decorative trim for the frame 😊
