Making a Zine: My Complete Process
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I made a zine (zeen... zean...?)! Here is my complete process - the theme was drawing things that were missing other things... like a flower pot missing a flower or a pool missing water. I really had so much fun making this zine and hopefully this video is helpful if you are considering creating one for yourself! If you do end up making one, please tag me on Instagram (@sunwooys) so I can see it as well :^)
Hope you enjoyed, see you in the next one!

Every KZread project starts out small. I suggest you appreciate it and not worry about how many others view it.
Literally all I now want to do is make zines now, halp
This was an amazing process to watch. The talent not just to create the art, but the sensitive approach to capturing the work being made makes all the difference. Love this.

[JUST RADIATING LOVE, AND IN AWE] Thank you for this video!
As a design student, I really loved everything about this zine you've created!
I very much enjoyed the experience of watching this video. The music was on point, and even got a bit of subtle ASMR: the shuffling of paper, the scratch of the pen, the tearing of the tape, the removing of the paint from the box. Well done.
hey!! this was super beautiful and im glad i watched, your work is definitely unique and i hope you post more :’)
I felt like I've watched this video before and I'm so happy I found it again. These images really spoke to me because I experience dissociation and emptiness daily because I live with borderline personality disorder. As an artist myself, I have tried to re-create these struggles into something tangible and I've made a few zines myself. Who knows? Maybe I'll sell them one day.
oh my goodness. the second last page of night sky and the whole zine itself. wonderfull
Lovely! I've been making zines lately, yours is gorgeous, I really love your art style 😊
*I feel missed while I was watching this vid* I might consider creating one for myself
loved everything about this!!!
I love this video, thank you for sharing. Your paintings are so cool!
beautiful! I just commented on one of your “missing” photos in instagram. I want to know how do I use the copy machine to build the piece of paper with the copied paintings that I will fold and convert into the zine. Heeelp pleassse! (also this is insanely beautiful, please keep posting your work! I think you are the only channel flr which I have notifications ON!)

When you go to print the zine, is there an option to print out in different paper materials? Or do you have to buy the paper material separate and then print? I hope this makes sense... thanks!

Hey, I honestly loved your video. But I wanted to ask you. Where you bought your sketchbook? The size looks perfect;;; also. Your work is simply beautiful ✨
Very awesome. The scanner was big enough to hold all the original pages to be printed out that way?

i used poster color! for this i scanned at home and brought the file to get it printed - depending on the place you can either take a usb or you can email the file to them and they will work with you to find the best paper.. usually they are really nice so dont be afraid!
This is prolly the first art video that I watched that uses poster paint. Instead, people use gouache (I believe it's as opaque as poster paint)
Hello! I love the video. Do you mind if I ask what you ask for at office Depot for the layout? I get social anxiety and in the past and I don't know what to ask at the desk >.

hello! I actually made the file with the art already laid out at home on my laptop, you can find the layout if you just google "6-page zine layout / template"! and then at the printers I just sent them the file for printing through email :)
