Hey Nerdforge! Regular Worbla user here! If you heat the worbla just slightly (not enough that it's soft and floppy, but just until it's warm) it's WAY easier to cut with a box-cutter! It also helps if you sandwich craft foam between two pieces of worbla. That way it's a lot studier and holds its shape better :)

My favorite discovery was when I found out that Wallmart carries solar powered garden lights for just a couple of bucks. Sometimes I can find them for a dollar. I have garden light guts hanging out all over my workspace; sitting on window sills, bookshelves, next to sculptures... just collecting dust and casting spooky light all night. I like your lamp so much, I might just have to take your idea and put my spin on it!

This was a really great project. Something that can be implemented in other ways. Awesome craftmanship on the lantern and good job with the code. Keep up the great work.

How expensive is it to start bookbinding? I love ur vids and wanted to make a small sketchbook

PandaCatPlayz for me, a book costs around NZ$10 to make. I use unscented floss for wax thread, faux leather (NZ$5 for 30cm, which is enough for three a5 books), 1 a4 sketchbook (120gsm, 60 pages, also $5), wood glue, which I already had, but regular PVA works as well, some high gsm paper for end pages, and I push pin with some scrap polystyrene underneath for a receiver. The more books I make, the cheaper it is, because paper reams are cheaper than sketchbooks, but all in all not that much compared to other things. I used Sealemon to learn kettle stitch binding, and also how to make a book press, which cost me less than NZ$20 to make. Hope this helps!

Your guys' channel is almost dangerous to watch - I want to make at least 80% of your projects (mostly due to my ability to make said projects, and not because I don't like some). You've really inspired me to get back into arduino - haven't touched that since college and I seriously miss it. Meanwhile, my 80+ other projects that I've started/bought items for are crying in the corner at the thought of me starting something else XD Also excited to see you use worbla - i've only seen it used in doll repaints and wanted to see some other uses for it, so thank you!
