Good day!!
Like the machete, the parang is frequently used in the jungle as well as being a tool for making housing, furniture, and tools. The parang has been noted in John "Lofty" Wiseman's SAS Survival Handbook for this use. Wiseman points out that by grinding three different angles in three separate regions along the Parang blade a narrow angle at the tip for skinning and fine cutting work; a wide, chopping blade angle along the bow in the blade for ax work, and an all-purpose hunting/survival knife angle along the edge nearest the handle for general purpose work the parang becomes a very useful, and compact all-purpose tool in the bush. its so shiny, love it. we used it to cut the bottom of the bush while standing. that's why parang must be long enough. at least 60-75 cm (sometime 1 meter in length). small at the start (near handle), wide at the end or in some region look like letter "L" or "J" .

She's good at using the sander/grinder. But she'll be doing less sanding/grinding if she is able to properly hammer the metal closer to it's final shape.

盒子裡的是各種硬度的銼刀，做完焠火之後用銼刀測試硬度，如果很順的滑過去不會銼傷刀子就表示有達到/超過這個硬度 她只挑一支來測的話，這支可能是HRC60或65的，丟烤箱回火後會稍微下降一點

The file slides right off of it. That's testing the hardness. If it weren't hot enough, the file would catch. You can't tell the heat by a video. It doesn't always show up the way you'd expect due to lighting and the video itself.
Nice knife needs to ne 5 inches longer bit thinner and lose the filling on the spine.

Nice little knife for sure. But I hate that so many YT tactics of misrepresentation. This video is selling the Idea that the girl in the video did the work on the knife. Do you see her nice, slender, well cared for hands and nails (13:08)? Well, try and match those hands with the hands doing the work, without the gloves (10:21). Still nice work, but i hate the misrepresentation...
