Hi Aaron, I am the lucky recipient of the oak box and I am thrilled with it. I am a passionate person when it comes to British made products. I have to say the quality is class. I can’t believe until I watched the video just how much time went into making the box. I was very lucky to have it for my birthday and on opening I was thrilled to find whisky inside. The box will no doubt be with me forever since it has many uses. Thank you, I shall cherish it. A special mention to Katie who brought it me for my birthday! :-) I would recommend this as a gift for others too.

Hello Scott haywood... thanks for taking the time to comment..im so thrilled that your happy with the box... it was such a fun thing to make and a nice change from radiator covers haha... and I tried my hardest no to leave you with a empty bottle.. im very big on British companies too... infact everything on this box was either handmade here I.e the wax finish and the hinges from a local ironmongery store.... again I am thrilled your happy makes it even more worth the time involved to create... and now you know where I am for future reference.. thanks arran

No dovetails? A piano hinge would have been better as you wouldn't get a much of a hinge gap at the back of the box.

Hello again... lol not sure if you read the description or not.. but I was faced with a very small window of time and had other commitments on... hence the not so fancy joinery.... and hinge selection... Thanks very much appreciated the commitments keep them coming 👍

It was cnc mate... I forgot to video it lol ... it was done from a friend local to me... very greatly appreciated from him ..

No mate... just I was on a time frame for this one and this was the best way to film and work... hope its not put ypu off... there will still be talking vids lol 😆

Thanks... both... I appreciate your comment and time to watch... Other reason for a no talking vid... is it enabling me to gwt vids out more regularly than before... so hope you enjoy them
